Played for a draw against the second weakest team in the league and got it. Just wish the gurning simpleton had told me that was his intention before I travelled hundreds of miles and forked out hundreds of quid on booze and curries.
In order to make the game in decent time, it's reasonable to assume that a passenger would forgo a pit stop and poo in a bag instead. With carrier bags no longer being free, it was still worth emptying out his doings when he reached a toilet and rinsing out the bag, to keep his fish paste sarnies in.
I had my feet wrapped in small plastic bags last night,as I gave them a treatment with a clay potion. I rinsed them out afterwards and will recycle them. I'm not sure I'd do this at SJP but given the match reports on here,it maybe preferable!
My idea is a bit revolutionary but how about playing him? (Cue: “but he will be broken forever if you do that because he played a summer tournament and didn’t get a vital stroll against Real Sociedad”).
Not in my house RP, we treasure every one of the 400 now overtaking the hall cupboard as if they are part of the family. You wouldn't throw your dog away if it needed a bath!
That's just plain cruel. I bet you run puppy farms and traffik children across the border as well. After not having any minutes on Saturday, of course they'll play a part against Arsenal (providing they can unwrap all the bubble wrap & cotton wool I've placed around them). It'll be interesting if Holebas comes back in or even Foulquier in some capacity.
True indeed. In which case, these fans might be well advised to support Manchester City, a team who, for the time being, are seldom ****ed. If the travel proves too expensive, my recommendation for them would be a joint Spurs/@rsenal season ticket. Both look iffy so our glory boys would benefit from the option of toggling between the two, dependent on results.
Interesting to see if Capoue is well again, Doucoure definitely not himself yesterday but I wonder how much of that was because his partner in crime wasn't with him?
If Javi had a role in u consuming hundreds of pounds worth of booze, curry and football surely he deserves your thanks. If u added Reggae and pu$$y you'd have covered the 5 best things in the world in 1 day!!
Baffling response. Bad day does not equate to death or relegation you simpleton. Bad day can easily equate to watching your team completely fail and have someone in charge that has run out of ideas when previously he has given us fans some fantastic times. I hope that when you have a bad day at work you dont mean your colleague has died.
Yes, when I have a bad day at work it's because my colleague has died. Everything else is fine. It's just the death of a colleague that ruins my day.
Good god. What has this thread become? People talking about actual death in relation to football? I know we are bottom the leauge but let's please not be so morbid.
The point about Welbeck? Fair enough. Your reasoning for Sarr not getting minutes is easily pulled apart... Mane played in the same Senegal team and has featured a lot already this season. Pereyra was also away with Argentina all summer and has even since suffered a minor injury - yet he has started games for us since. There are plants of players playing in the PL and Europe who went to these summer tournaments and have featured heavily in the season so far. Unless Sarr has an injury we haven’t been told about, it’s bizarre. Almost as bizarre as signing a winger for £40m and then changing formation so using wingers isn’t an option.
I wonder if Gracia wasn't in agreement over the Sarr signing ? Perhaps he wanted the money spent on CDs and doesn't rate Sarr ?
In other words, you'll enjoy seeing your team get beaten every week or go and support another team? No wonder half the stadium is empty at full time.
Pozzo model in reverse. Unearth a young relatively unproven prospect, buy for £40m, fails to make the grade, sell for £7m in a year's time to get him off the payroll to comply with Championship financial rules...
Equally baffling response. An away point does not equate to a bad day to be fan. A bad day to be a fan is if you were a Bury fan last week or as I said, getting relegated. Disappointed possibly that we didn't win I can understand. On a side note, name calling is something most of us stopped when we left school
When they equalised I didnt care one bit because we had marquee signings sarr and welbeck on the bench, plus of course our crown jewel: deulofeu. Oh what fun it was going to be when our brave manager hurled them into the fray to destroy the fragile newcastle defence. Sarr and deulofeu terrifying them with their skill and pace, carving out chance after chance for our deadly assassin welbeck up top. I was so excited at haltime. My pie tasted like manna from heaven. Oh what fun it is to watch waford win 3, 4 or maybe even 5 - 1 away! The minutes ticked by. Any time now he's going to unleash the beasts! Any...minute.....now. The subs board goes up! The time had come! Blood rushed into my penis. Ok, it's 70 minutes so a bit later than I was hoping, but I trust in gracia.. But hang on, wait a minute, what the phuck is this?? Chalobah???? A player who's body and mind are broken beyond repair and.......Success???? Isaac "50 games 2 goals" success???? what the phuckingphuck is this grinning ******ous terd playing at???? But its fine, plenty of time to throw on one of our aces in the pack... 72mins...73......75.......77.....WHERE THE PHUCK IS THE SUBSTITUTION????.........78........79.......80 PHUCKING mins and still out star players sit there, baffled at why they have not been deployed to tear apart this abject newcastle defence. 81 mins.. 82 minutes. Finally, but far too late does the penny drop in the simpletons brain that maybe just maybe we have the players to beat a shower of shyte like newcastle. Deulofeu on, muttering "puta madre" as he passed the gibbering buffoon. But it's too late. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
He lost me on Saturday. My natural instinct is loyalty to the manager. He can **** off now. Newcastle were absolute shyte. So were we, but we had game changers on the bench. What is the ******* point?
The only explanation is that he was crippled by the fear of going in to the break with zero points. That's no excuse whatsoever for a professional football manager though. Absolutely pathetic and shameful.
We are all frustrated, concerned, worried (some seem suicidal). Take a chill pill everyone. This may not be the season we had all been expecting and we should take nothing for granted. However, Do we have a great owner? Yes. Do we have a good Coaching staff? Yes. Do we have a good EPL Squad ? Yes. Do we have a great recruitment/scouting set up ? Yes (Not withstanding the fact that we've been crying out for 2 quality CB's for 20+ months). All of the above have a lot more knowledge on the hows and whys of whats happening with our club at the moment. All we can do is be positive and get behind the team on a match day. Let those responsible get on with their jobs. Life and football have ups and downs and as hard as it is, we have to grin & bear it, and not over react to defeats or wins !
Perhaps you're misinterpreting my post. I believe it's a bad day because I got zero enjoyment out of the match. None. We scored which was great and then it became very obvious we were going to be the worst team in this football match. We scraped a draw against a terrible team, time wasting from minute 3 and playing backs to the wall. Then with serious talent on the bench to change things, we ignore them until 70 minutes and then give Deulofeu 5 minutes whilst ignoring Welbeck and Sarr. You're clearly part of the #lookhowfarwevecome brigade and that's fine. Your prerogative I guess but I hold the team to higher standards and derive more enjoyment from playing better football. I'm sure you also didn't think the FA cup final was a bad day to be a Watford fan either. I left after the 5th goal because I've had enough but there were plenty waving their flags and enjoying their day out. Fair enough I guess, they paid their money too but I think it was a bad day for all Watford fans (from the ko, the beers beforehand was great fun) but I'm sure many would disagree but maybe we want/expect different things from this football team.
