Shame. I expect he'd have been great at that. Something he can do 100% on his own with no involvement of any teammates.
Biceps femoris is a muscle at the back of the thigh which extends the leg (attaches to the pelvic girdle and knee). Lack of use can result in it tearing which may be the case with Adalberto doing sprints. Shame really as he could do with some competitive football to gauge where he is at. Currently we have no real idea if he is going to fulfil his potential and this injury will not help. Gracia not selecting him at the end of the season is either because he does not impress in training (he doesn't train well) or is not impressed by him as a footballer. If the latter then the injury makes him harder to sell. A good CA would have helped with a sale and transfer fee.
Reports in Turkey (via SportWitness) say he could be on his way. http://sportwitness.co.uk/talks-opened-sign-watford-forward-club-wants-deal-done-preseason/
Interesting. First and foremost he needs regular games which he's not had in a couple of seasons. Strange if it's an out right sale.
Probably the best we can hope for. Based on a number of being played games I should think. If he doesn’t make the pitch we’ll have to pay them to take him.
From being linked to Barcelona, to this. Wouldn't be surprised if Choochoo Hernandez ends up down a similar path.
Thanks for the link Kieren. As Sportswitness is basically the voice of the club now with their spot on scoops, I would like to wish Penaranda all the best for the future as I know he reads this forum.
He likely needs to go somewhere, as much as we'd probably prefer to rehab him here. Last year he was still eligible for U21 status, this year he's not. We can't carry a non-homegrown player that isn't fit enough for minutes.
I think trying to reverse jinx him into flopping with hookers, drinking Grandma's Christmas tipple and falling on his arse in a series of lacklustre substitute appearances would take minimal juju.
He's joined Belgian club KAS Eupen on a season long loan. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ill-spend-season-loan-belgian-side-kas-eupen/
Absolute prime cut, full fat ********. ******* like Giraldi and Gracia ruining careers. How many more countries are we going to send him to before he gets a chance here? I hate this club sometimes.
If he gets some decent game time this could turn out to be a great move. Tin pot team but not sure we could expect much more than the Belgian top flight. The issue will be if they struggle and decide to tighten up the formation and drop the flair player....
Punishment for daring to show any creativity or flair in his one home appearance. We’re not allowed excitement at the vic you fool.
To be honest, just playing football of any standard is going to be a step up for him compared to the last year or two. We really need to see him excelling in the Belgian league though to hold much hope for him to make an impact in the Premier League.
Struggling to score goals, and we send a promising 22 year old out on loan instead of giving him a chance. Just about getting fed up with the happenings at this club. Wouldn't send deeney out on loan would they!!
I just hope he curled off a fat steaming bum cigar into ginos top drawer before leaving. This move is a disgrace.
We are allowing a coach to make decisions about entire season loans for players when he could be gone in a few weeks. Absolute madness. What next, Quina to go out on loan? Chalobah? Pathetic from a coach who has no ability to develop players. At all. Let's hope Belgian Bun FC can do it for him.
Very difficult to tell the genuine posts from the humorous posts on this thread. He does nothing for 3 years, can't get into the team at Udinese, Malaga, or even on the bench here but scores a great goal against a 3rd tier side and suddenly he should be in the team and loaning him out to a Belgian top tier side for regular footy is seen as madness ?
People need something to pin their hopes on. They conveniently forget that he was pony against the part timers in the FA cup earlier this year. They would only give him 90-120 minutes to score a couple of hat-ricks before turning on him anyway. He probably doesn’t even want to play in front of our whining fans either.
