Sometimes fans of other clubs do look at our forum, Filbert, Toffee Blue, and many others.
I think some Bolton fans have shown an interest over the Bassini connection.
In my view, to have a thread like this, even if we were to get relegated is absdurd, but in the face of what is unfolding at BWFC. is almost insulting.
Perhaps some on this forum should just turn their allegiance to Liverpool or Man City, and if they are doing poorly can always swap to one of the other top six.

 

Or perhaps some on this forum can post things that are sarcastic and clearly meant as humour without having the fun police piping up? Or they can turn their allegiance to any other club who’s forum is frankly far worse than this one?

As far as Bolton fans or Bury fans or anyone else who comes on here - they are welcome, I’d say it’s clear that any opposing fan who has come on these pages to actively engage in a serious manner has been treated with respect. There is a thread about Bassini where Bolton fans can see our thoughts and see that we sympathise with them. I’m sure they won’t be insulted by a clearly tongue-in-cheek thread such as this one.

If a Palace fan wants to make an account to make a *** of him or herself, so what? Says more about them than us that they feel the urge to do that. We have plenty of quick-witted people on here quite capable of dealing with it.

As for the person who made this thread, it’s clearly a joke. Not one I’m sure many find funny but it’s hardly offensive. As far as offending people go, I dare suggest that you yourself have said worse.

Just because you are positive, doesn't mean everyone has to be.

Post your positive stuff and let anyone who wishes to post more negative stuff do their thing as well - people are free to do both surely? Most of both viewpoints comes from a position of concern for the club I'm sure. Because some are feeling down about the club and its form etc, that hardly makes it inane drivel. And if they can't put it in more eloquent terms for you, so what?

Its far better when everyone tries to understand the opposite viewpoint to their own - a lot seem to struggle with that, myself included at times. But I don't buy the opinion that because someone is negative about the club at the moment, it makes them any less of a fan than someone who sees the glass as half full.
