Yes. Everton fans could watch a re-run of their team losing every day for a year and never see the same match twice. They really are an impressive club
A fitting mark of respect. Maybe polish up the London Counties Shield (or whatever that monster is called) & bring it on on a flatbed truck.
Dear god.... that is very depressing. But not impossible. I feel sorry for Bury. Puts our current "crisis" into perspective.
I'd never thought I'd ever say this but we need Mariappa back alongside Cathcart. With them 2 we were a mid table defensive team. With Dawson we looked like a relegation defensive team. I'm also concerned that Holebas may be past it. Brighton were all over us on that side.

I think Dawson needs a few games to bed in as they say. He was awful Saturday, leauge first start for us or not. Simple mistakes and at fault for at least two of the goals. Yes he can attack and can be a goal threat, but his defensive side was dreadful. Mapps isn't much better overall, but he does put in the odd crucial block and can work with Holebas and Cathcart. Dawson has time to improve, but he needs to do it sooner rather than later.
Foster Janmaat Cathcart Kabasele Masina Capoue Doucoure Sarr Pereyra Welbeck Deulofeu 3-2 Everton. 3 down at half time, 2 back in the second half
How i would like to see us line up: Foster Janmaat Dawson Cathcart Masina Capoue Doucouré Sarr Deulofeu Pereyra Welbeck (if he's ready. If not, Gray.) Bench: Gomes, Femenia, Kabasele, Holebas, Cleverley, Hughes, Gray/Welbeck. Stand: Deeney. As we didn't score last week, we're going to score here. 2-1 Everton. Richarlison x2, Gray. Gracia sacked after the match.
Looks good to me: Foster Chambers Shittu Marriappa Powell Doyley Young Francis Mahon King Henderson Bench: Lee, DeMerit, Spring, Priskin, Bouazza

Club tweeted a video of Sarr walking in, glum-faced, with the caption “Look who just turned up for his first day”. So no chance he’ll be fit this weekend. Maybe Welbeck will be - we need to do something different in attack. As bad as the defence was we don’t really have a lot of options there. Everton comfortable 3-0 winners.
...LIMITS. The 2 unlimited extended version. Prob to complicated for the rookery so its a no from me.
It's not normal for me to be weeping about our goal difference after the first game of the season, but after this one I think I might be in the pits of despair about it. We'll never have a positive GD moment this season now I fear...
I think it's the other way around. Given Welbeck's interview from Deadline Day on SSN, I very much got the impression he would still be a few weeks away from being able to play in the first team. Hasn't kicked a ball competitively in 2019 and missed a whole pre-season. Will take more than a week to get back I imagine. But Sarr played all of last season and will have a high degree of fitness due to playing in the AFCON - will basically have been his pre-season. I'd be really quite surprised if Sarr isn't involved this weekend.
Fantastic match preview. Hope it isn't the highlight of Match day 2! We've got shitloads of defenders. Should be able to find a workable combination. Most likely Dawson and Cathcart need a bit of time to gel. If they cant we have others we can play. We definitely missed Mapps' do or die blocking against Brighton. Just hope the commitment and mentality is better against the biggest losers in premier league history AKA the Middlesbrough of the North West: Rankin, How, Dawson,Vega, Holebas, Capoue, Quina, Doucoure, Sarr, Gray, Pereyra.
If we line up the same as last Saturday I'm going to moan so ****ing much this forum won't know what's hit it. Deeney out, Hughes out, 4-4-2/4-2-2-2 OUT!!! COYH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
