The most naturally gifted player ever to play for us. Was criminally mis managed by our inept management.
Lots of people I don’t know die every day, doesn’t mean you have to make jokes about it. Try being a decent human being.
I came to say congrats and that I’m glad you got it over the line because it seemed like not getting him might have pushed a few of you over the edge.... But in true WFCForums fashion the thread has already taken a very sharp turn into the bizzare.
We do seem to have a habit for going off on a massive very strange tangent , this forum reminds me heavily of the TV Services “it’s always sunny in Philadelphia”
Thanks MATE I hope you lot have a good season, I desperately want to see you above the likes of Everton, West Ham and Wolves.
Expect news on this, one way or the other within 48 hours. We've entered the final details of the negotiations.
Cant see him signing now to be honest and we'll probably sell all our players before the European window shuts, leaving us die hard fans who've seen every game home and away since 1881 (including friendlies) just staring at the green turf muttering to ourselves about Scullion, Williams, Blissett and Coton as no Watford players take the pitch against Brighton
Just watching this being discussed on sky sports news. For once they are being complimentary.. But wow! 35 million up front! Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
How on earth do we suddenly have £30m plus to throw about? We are probably the most prudent club in the division but our books are still not exactly great. Seems very left field. Hope he is good
Bloody hell. Who’d have thought. Big gamble so they must really believe in this kid. Hope they are right to and he can force his way past Sema and Hughes and get a run in the first team.
Don’t believe anything Sky say. They were saying this deal was off, so they can take their £35mil quote and shove it. I’m deciding we actually paid £25mil plus £5mil in bonuses. I have about as much connection to the club as they do, which is nothing.
Left field, no. Thoroughly researched and well thought out moves, yes. Goals and targets have moved from short term (11+ Loan signings etc. usual Rag waffle blah blah) to now what are clearly becoming more long term plans for the club, the most exciting time in Watford's history may I add! You can't argue with the facts, and the facts are there on paper ready to be submitted to the FA for this season's selected squad. Books are healthier than they ever have been. Even at time of press. Post-Sarr. Dream, believe, achieve.
Our new sponsorship deal is definitely worth more than the old one. Fans won't like it but our sleeve sponsor is Bitcoin - that's worth a fortune so I imagine they aren't exactly paying a pittance for their logo being advertised either. Revenue streams are likely predicted to have a marked increase this season which allows the club to be flexible in the market.
Has this been announced as a new sponsor. I just assumed we weren't having one. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
