    Hope someone informs these little clubs that it won’t be a first 11, so don’t pay for extra burger vans and scaffold stands like last summer.

    I can see QPR getting carried away and you know it will end in tears.

    One of the top 4 teams in Spain, Italy or Germany would be fantastic. Or a Lyon/PSG/Marseille from France. Just something to get excited about rather than the usual bog standard stuff.

    Hugely important preseason. We need to get the players in early and get them to Javi's fitness levels. We managed to stick 12 points on the board by being ready last season - a poor start and we will really struggle I think.

    Currently gathering dust in Genoa. Us and Sampdoria get it for 6 months each but we promised them we would take it this summer after not collecting it for 5 months....but apparently we have cancelled plans for our trophy cabinet after Saturday.

    No incentive for people to go unlike last year when the GT statue was unveiled.

    Unless we have a load of new signings and need to work out who is who...

    Which Non-league team will we upset this year by pulling out or sending the kids to?
