In any half decent Benny Hill sketch, there was a young woman with a name badge on her bosom saying simply ‘Pat’.
I have spoken to Watford FC. They are sticking to their policy. What they have on record it what they are sticking with. It's ok. I cannot be bothered to chase down a ticket.
It is not about the money at all. I have a ticket. My point was about WFC and their allocation policy. Where l choose to live does not make me less of a fan.
It kind of does. I would have second and indeed third thoughts about moving somewhere that I couldn't get to games. Probably makes me sad.
Checking ticket sales each day and on current projections I think it will just about sell out except the middle tier Club Wembley.
Is anyone actually having trouble? Last phase tomorrow is open. If you’ve bought a ticket ever and on the db then youre eligible. Dunno how that works if you didnt have a fan id?
Only problem is for some people, they can probably get a ticket but not with the people they want to go with from previous categories
Yeah, am in that bot, 4 of us in two pairs, so could have been worse, but wanted to change seats as there was lots available after the new ones came up, and couldnt. Though, i cant think of a satisfactory solution to all this complex banding of sales.
Easy solution, for anyone able to get to the ticket office with their (pre-delivered) tickets in hand and be allowed to change them for more seats together! I.e. Have purchased 2 in category A, want 2 more for non season ticket holders (group A) so changes these 2 for 4 tickets elsewhere in the stadium! Club updates system and resells released seats. Peeps
Not sitting with your "friends" is GOOD (I use the term "friends" loosely as why anyone would want a friend who supports Watfud is beyond me). It means you have the opportunity to make new "friends" and you can then get the new "friends" to meet your old "friends" after the twattery. Eventually, everyone who supports Watfud will be "friends" and then it won't matter who you sit with. It's like Arsebook or that thing where we are all related to Hitler (nice bloke, few misguided ideas). Can't see a problem in that. RTC. Helping people on the Interweb with too little REAL stuff to worry about that they have to make stuff up to worry about since 2002 Much love xxxx
I just got the last ticket in block 551 for my boss. There was one remaining in 550 and there are about 8 left in 549, after that there are no more available in the 500s. I didn't check the 200s or 100s but I suspect that there are not many left now.
Looks like about 80 left now + some in Club Wembley. City have sold out so the FA will be very happy with themselves for their excellent business model and pricing strategy. Well done FA...give yourselves a big pat on the back
Do people reckon we’ll be able to sell out our allocation of 6000 for the Europa League final next season
Not sure tickets for this years final in Baku will be an issue, it's how toy get there. No direct flights and to get there in under 12 hours will cost £1600!! Interesting point. We used to use a campsite (with outdoor pool) just outside of Canterbury for weekends during the summer. It was an old farm and the barns/outbuildings had been converted into a number of apartments. A old boy "owned" one and was also a member of KCC - he always maintained that with the amount of cricket he saw over the summer it worked out much cheaper than a football season ticket... FWIW - my RSC membership benefits package used to include MCCC (Middlesex) membership for something ridiculous (£50?) - I never used it.
