I think he's a bloke that needs games. A loan to a Championship side would help him next year. Whichever sides lose in the playoffs would be the first place I'd look. Fulham perhaps as well. I expect they'll lose Mitrovic so they may have a need. I think the other 2 sides that go down will be in free fall.
Hopefully he didn’t end up sitting on the carpet throwing his hands in the air & requiring a cold sponge. Which disappeared first? The omnipotent sponge or the halftime orange?
He needs converting from ineffective striker option, to towering centre half option, now that Brios and Prodl look like leaving the squad. We need someone to push Kabasele on. A bit like Massina has improved Holebas.
Success = centre half = too many penaltys conceded Best he flys abroad, and he ego follows in a juggernaut!
Being linked to a move to Swansea on loan with an option to buy. Elis @NiftyNordfeldt #Swans are linked with #WatfordFC’s Isaac Success on loan until the end of the season, the deal will include 5 Million option to buy
A complete and utter dud of the highest order, but I still find it hard to dislike the big galoot. But then I always was a sucker for a funky haircut and a baileys addiction.
He was quite exciting when he first joined, pace, power and trickery. Didn't seem to have the mentality to kick on, and had an annoying habit of falling to the floor instead of making the most of his strength. At least we're not going to have to hear commentators make a strained "Success" pun whenever the camera falls on him any more.
Wow, if the board are treating a visiting club dignitary to an all-expenses paid trip to Tranmere on a Tuesday night we must be keen to get the deal done.
Had some Success down the left according to Pearson. Must have missed that! https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/pearson-we-have-recover
I think he needs a run of games, 15 minutes here and there isn't going to benefit him or the team. He's not going to start games here so the decision to keep him during the window is yet another baffling one. Especially as Penaranda and Pedro are more than capable of filling his role of never getting off the bench most weeks.
The only light relief after 44 minutes was when Pearson was about to make the second substitution, approximately five minutes after Success came on. Someone cried "take Success off". As many have stated,it was baffling as to why he was on in the first place. As leighton buzzard horn said he is getting worse and it's hard to fathom how that is possible.
Huddersfield and Cardiff were mentioned which would have been perfect. But who knows what is real or just rumours during transfer windows!
It was quite clear yesterday that after the subs were made none of the attacking players had a clue what the plan of attack was and who was playing in what position. As soon as Delph went off we should have reverted to a 3 man midfield again. Instead he brought on more attackers and the last 20 mins was a shambles. We don’t need anymore “well he can play out wide or through the middle, making him a real asset” player. We need out and out defenders and strikers and didn’t get any in January as was hoped. I’ve settled with the fact we are going down this year as has the board of directors with their negative approach to investment. Let’s build for next year as one thing is a certainty and that is the fact the Pozzo’s recruitment is successful in the championship but an absolute failure in the Premier League.
Pearson even says in that interview he tried to chagnge the formation swapping Welbeck and Success around m. Meanwhile Everton brought in Keane to mark Deeney and moved Holgstw into midfield to plug the gap left by Delph. Nigel was outfoxed and outfoxed by a manager with a world class track record .
Agreed. After the subs it seemed that Everton had more players on the pitch than we did. They controlled midfield and our plethora of "forwards" rarely got the ball.
