I dunno. Plenty of Bernardo Silva/Sterling dives this year. Both are vile teams. Tiebreaker is that the Liverpool fans are unbearable so City for me.

Sterling has improved this season, I feel.

    I’m sorry for Cardiff.

On the end of a string of poor decisions.

I’m very glad that Merson & the football powers now see us as established Prem players who can’t be treated in this way.

Meh - you've still got Sterling's dive against Swansea, and the the nonsense in the early Champions League game when he tripped over his own feet. He might not have dived but still did the idiotic mouth open, arched back as if shot and felt the need to look back at referee. As good as cheating to me. The body shape when touched is ingrained in these deceitful players. They do it as a natural reaction even when they have tripped themselves up.

    You make a strong case.

It seems we are just one diver short of challenging the top 6.

I was struck by a recent interview with Aguero.

Softly spoken & down to earth.

The benign brown eyes of a friendly cow.

Salah with another soft dive to win a penalty..

    Agreed with Colin again!

Mind you Cardiff hardly had a shot on goal to worry Liverpool.

Success is trying. He’s just bobbins at it like other areas of his game.

He does have pleasant eyes I agree. If I were marking him at a corner I would think he would just aimlessly pace in his zone looking for feed before he would pull my pants down with an extremely unbovine turn of pace.

    Yes.
A few examples but the best ‘dive’ I’ve ever seen when he was pole axed by nasty Wolves player at Molineux.
No feigning, no stumbling, collapsed like a pack of cards I thought he’d been shot.

I've actually stopped caring about the embarrassingly awful actions of some players and the subsequent predictable reactions from referees reinforcing the cheating.

And in the moment I stopped caring, a bit of the football magic has sadly died in me.

I feel like the 3rd-6th sides lose every week yet they're always miles ahead of 7th. Are they sneaking points onto the board when nobody is looking?

Bloody Man U and Arsenal, we play them both off the park and lose to them, then they go and lose to Everton and Palace

    Shameless play acting from Burnley.

Are they looking to sign up Salah for next season?

It was embarrassing to watch but then I found myself thinking, 2 years ago I'd have been loving all that time wasting.

The cost of staying in this league is causing this kind of football and we can't complain about what we've helped it become through TV revenues.

I also found myself thinking about how much we've grown as a team that in a few weeks time we will be taking it to Chelsea rather than pulling out a desperate display like that.

It is, though, the entertainment industry.

Dyche does not contribute & it would be just if Burnley were relegated rather than Cardiff on some Fair Play small print.

Burnley don't seem to have evolved since promotion, still play like a newly promoted side.

Great to see Hughton park the bus and get done in last moments. Zero goals from Brighton in he last 7 games? Imagine having a season ticket for a team with him in charge.

It’s not even as if they’re being unlucky in front of goal. Sky showed a graphic earlier and it’s something like, 1,1,1,0,2,1,1 shots on target in that time.

It's funny in a season that has had more scalps than any other I can remember even with Liverpool and Man City being so dominant, that we should be enjoying our best Premier League season, but still remain so bad at least results-wise against the top 6 (if we don't win at Chelsea, we will actually have a worse record than in 1999/00, which had that famous win at Anfield and a win against Chelsea).

During the last few weeks alone we've had:
    Everton 1-0 Arsenal
    Everton 4-0 Man Utd
    Arsenal 2-3 Palace
    Wolves 3-1 Arsenal

Add to that lot there's Bournemouth 4-0 Chelsea, Man City 2-3 Palace, Newcastle 2-1 Man City just out of the top of my head.

Just what do we have to do to get better results against the top teams? I don't think it's necessarily to do with them raising their game more against us than other teams (Arsenal and Man Utd were nothing special against us in all their four games, for instance) or us lacking that cutting edge you need to take your chances against the best, as no team outside that group has scored more goals than us. So I'm not sure what's the solution...

Although the narrative trotted out by the lazy journos until about Feb was that the top 6 were the most impregnable they’ve ever been.

To beat them you’ve got to get at them.

Back off & more skilful players will beat you.

Has Javi been too polite around the top 6 this season?

We have been unlucky against the top 6, and also destroyed by biased decisions. How many offside goals against in them? 4 is it?

Plus foster and deeney gifting arsenal the game, we're would definitely have beaten them.

We have been outplayed twice by the top 6, city and liverpool, I don't think we're doing anything wrong.

It's simple we need better strikers, who can take the many chances the rest of the team present them with.

As I have said in the past, we need a "Fox in Box", then we will probably achieve those results against those top teams and possibly be up there challenging them as well.

A better rub of the green from officials would also help, and hopefully we will get that next season with the introduction of VAR!!!

Have to say I don't remember any offside goals but some bad luck certainly.

Late OG at Arsenal or soft goals against Man U....all 4 of them!

Apparently West Ham have inherited our 'bag of Revels' title. The moccasins seem to have been removed from the glass mountain until next season, however.
