While I see where you are coming from and think the word ‘gypo’ is a derogatory term. I also do have a deep hatred of L*ton, everything about it and believe they are gypo’s. ‘Dislike’ doesn’t go far enough. Sorry.
To be fair, one was scored with a lot of time on the clock. The other felt like a knockout blow. I’ll let you decide which was which!
Ah yes, the selective memory of fans even in the short space of around 90 minutes. Apparently the mask is a symbol given to him by a Mexican loser, sorry wrestler, despite the fact it’s a bookable offence. Deulofeu’s celebration in front of them was out of order though. Clearly Doherty’s was not. Damn those facts getting in the way of their rants.
What is hilarious is the wolves Muppets' theory that Deeney is being Mexican-racist because he's disrespecting Mexican culture.
None of those. I suppose I just internally absorbed the utter 5h1te spouted by apparently semi-educated ‘consultants’ in interminable motivational sessions that had fark all to do with our actual business. Luckily I’ve never had any cause to use any of it.
I flicked onto Troys instagram earlier, its amazing the volume of "I'm not racist but" style comments on there, or calling him a racist while racially or geographically insulting him. It's appaling, but he's not poor little danny rose or raheem sterling, hes big bad troy so **** the media or FA doing anything to support.
Ah yes, the corporate consultants, handsomely paid young MBA graduates with little actual business experience called in by the top brass who don’t know what to do - so they can borrow your watch and then tell you the time. Great job if you can get it.
No need for question mark! I feel like Capoue shielding you all from Keighley’s Johnny Williams as the Grammar Enforcer.
Oh dear! Just when I thought Wolves couldn’t be anymore small, irrelevant and tinpot, their fans do this... https://mobile.twitter.com/Stuj4z/status/1116304577425551360 What an embarrassing club. Still, come the end of the season and Nuno leaves for Chelsea, Neves clears off for Liverpool, Moutinho goes to some mid table European club and ****enez goes to some small team in La Liga, they will be back down to the championship in no time.
The ? was to show it was an implied question out to the audience, what did they think? I accept that by constantly typing abbreviated sentences I don't help the reader !
Oh please let this get some traction. The thought of a load of Wolves supporters coming to the game wearing those masks is hilarious. I think it’ll take the number one spot of most embarrassing footie YouTube vids away from Hull’s mauled by the tigers chant.
A pretty plausible scenario. The problem with having an agent as a stakeholder is that he participating purely to showcase his players. Some similarities with the Pozzo Model TM but Gino’s outright ownership suggests a more stable basis for operating. On the other hand, Mendes may bring in Ronaldo, Mourinho & Eusebio, & Wolves may start stockpiling the silverware.
No need. Seasoned forumites will instinctively have read it with that ‘intonation rising towards the end of the sentence like Kylie in the 80’ way.
Wondering out loud, do Jiminez’ mask antics give our team licence to explore alternative wrestling motifs? Can we expect Troy to embrace Jiminez in a half Nelson before launching himself off the crossbar to execute a full bodyslam?
I can't be sure but didn't Eusebio die? Having said that it probably wouldn't stop some clubs trying to buy him!
You know it's bad when you're getting mocked by Watford fans. Atleast it'll hide their gurning faces.
Hmmm, I take your point. However, playing devil's advocate, I would argue that no club's fanbase comes across particularly well if you use twitter as its benchmark - we certainly have more than our fair share of absolute numbskulls on there. The mask thing will look foolish if they do it - especially if they don't win or, worse, don't score (which is unlikely, but would be very amusing). However - and I suspect I may get slated by some on here for suggesting this but sod it - is it any less embarrassing than our fans waving plastic snakes around?
I think I do mean that, yes. And, in which case - no. Aaaargh, I'm tired, I've had a long drive home from Dorset and now I'm thoroughly confused. I'll just settle for....fewer.
Yes you are. Excellent work though sir, first step to rectifying a problem is to recognise that the problem exists. I wish you well on your journey.
Otter said: ↑ I noticed that too. I liked the way Deeney picked Deulofeu up and turned him around. Would be deemed unacceptable behaviour in most places of work these days. Presumably only after he had read and confirmed his understanding of the safe lifting at work poster on the dressing room wall.
