There was some story's going round that he was left out of the squad after sulking about not being on the team sheet every week at the turn of the year
Capoue has been fantastic this season but Cleverley isn't half the player Doucoure is, Chalobah has barely kicked a ball in 18 months, Quina and Wilmot are young and almost completely unproven, and Hughes has played 90% of his games here out wide. No point in pretending that losing Doucoure wouldn't be a huge blow. He's incredibly important to us and we don't have anyone that can do what he does.
Not a chance that he could wrestle a place from Doucs or Caps at this moment. He’s behind Quinny, Clevs and even Sems in the pecking order now. Nearly two years out, it’ll be like he’s never seen a football before. Another Gareth Williams I’m afraid.
Chalobah Instagram shows him training on his own (with a coach) looks like he is doing very light training / strengthening work so maybe had a setback or just being very cautious with him and hoping he has a full on proper pre-season. There’s a great player in there and if Doucs leaves he could be very important to us if he plays to his potential.
Put a tweet up congratulating the team and Gomes so doubt there is a bad feeling towards manager or club, just simply that he's unfortunately injured
And Craig Ramage. At least we got more out of Gifton than he did Ramage, who was a one-season wonder - with him being a potential Premiership star and England international, the way his career panned out was more of a tragedy than Gifton's.
Ah. I was seeing it more as a Missing Persons Inquiry. The classic Marple approach is to start with the last substantiated sighting.
Fingers crossed that Felicity Kendall gets a crack at it. She would, I am confident, excel at the bending over aspects.
Always liked Felicity Kendall, never quite as tasty after the good life but matured well I think. Showing my age now.
He was the worst waste of talent I have ever seen at Watford. At least Cally had some really good seasons under his belt before putting everything else under his belt. Ramage could have played for any team if he had only given a toss.
Don't remember Josan Hickson bending over a lot, mind you she was in her eighties! FK must be seventy though? Joan Hickson siad "Oh" a lot.
And still top totty! Very nice in The Good Life but one of those ladies that seems to get better as they age. Good job this is anonymous, she's old enough to be my mother.
