It is certainly where Keith Richards owned the house where the Stones were busted for drugs & Marianne Faithfull’s Mars Bar incident took place.
Technically I believe it was Mick Jagger's mars bar. I believe Marianne was just "holding it" for him (though of course I realised that you were referring to her "incident" rather than her "bar").
Think this guy looks good and we need CB reinforcements as we all know. But the second 45 today reinforces the belief that we should be giving Wilmot more game time at the back.
Not sure how reliable this feed is but...….. Korea Football News @KORFootballNews 8m8 minutes ago Jeonbuk Hyundai defender Kim Min-jae has confirmed that he will move to Beijing Guoan
https://twitter.com/AdamLeventhal/status/1089833712542453760 Someone has asked him about defensive targets and he's replied: "As it stands, the long list of names linked in defensive positions don’t seem to be happening." Reassuring. Also gives some credence to the story that the Korean lad has turned us down for China.
Now confirmed by the player himself, that he's signed for Beijung Guoan. https://en.yna.co.kr/view/AEN20190128010700315?input=tw
A strange interview that. Says he's not aware of interest from us and would have been worried about getting a WP regardless - so were we interested? Leventhal said we were but then said we were not near any defensive recruits this morning. Maybe we tested the water regarding a WP and it wasn't good news. But what is strangest is that he admits freely that he recognises going to China isn't going to be great in terms of his sporting prospects and may affect his progress in his career and international hopes. So effectively admitting he's going for the money - otherwise why not just stay where you are?
I think we can all agree this has been an entertaining rumour. I have no need for such things to turn out to be true, they merely exist to entertain. Please carry on and enjoy Miguel Britos.
No, the article bizarrely said that. Kim's actual quote on the subject was "It's important for me to take a starting spot there and play better. Then I believe I can still contribute for the national team. "
Okay fair point, I may have misread it at first glance so I stand corrected. Still seems a transfer motivated by money it seems but there again, if there was no offer from us, you can hardly blame a young lad going there for the money he will undoubtedly be getting paid. Just think its a sad state of affairs when a player seems to recognise his career may stall but accepting such riches. Nevermind...we go again!
I'm hoping it's because either we did really think there'd be work permit issues, and/or we're getting that Núñez fellla instead.
Sounds like he wanted to make sure he could get a starting spot and so increase his national team chances. Fair enough. No way we'd guarantee him a starting slot. I think anyone coming from the Korean League will face a significant adjustment period stepping up to the EPL. I tend to doubt that's it's equal even to the Championship, so he'd be facing some stiff headwinds to be ready.
That's a great shout to provide another 6 mins of coverage should it be required in the balance of the season, probably about as match fit as he was 5 years ago too.
