Was a tad surreal, agreed... Don't get me wrong if Scott thinks I'm under performing I hear about it (and from Troy also), I'm just a 35yr old man with a hobby that has stuck for 10yrs... as long as the fans of all ages are happy, I'm happy. RE: My drumming 'hey ho'...
On the BBC website preview Gracia says. "In this moment, maybe different things happen, but I am happy with the squad I have." Happy with the squad?? Dear oh dear.
Palace will be well up for this one as they will be right down there if they lose this game, Cardiff are at home to Hudderfield and Burnley have Fulham. Southampton have also looked a bit stronger in recent weeks since the new manager come in.
Press high to cut off the long balls and have someone man mark Zaha occasionally. Townsend is good, but I'll take my chances. Make their rear players play with the ball at their feet in their own half. They'll get frustrated and into foul trouble chasing the likes of Pereyra, Doucs and Deulofeu.
He's unlikely to say they're the biggest bunch of ****s he's ever had the misfortune to encounter. That's Troy's job.
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "We believe a top-10 finish is a distinct possibility." Cannily, the old pro doesn't reveal for which team.
And he said we are physical/aggressive but fair...not sure their fans would agree! https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2019/ja...ks-ahead-to-tomorrows-encounter-with-watford/
So Wayne Hennessy and his special wave that isn't a nazi salute, probably not worth mentioning tomorrow
You caught one on one of the palace forums with this one. Bizarrely not sure you were trying to this time!? On the Holmesdale site about 3rd post in under the thread title ‘I hate watford’
I would have given him the benefit of the doubt, but his son is called Adolf Hennessy, so I'm not so sure.
@officialharryhornet Wow I never knew our own mascot had an account! Two things i’ve always wanted to know. 1 Are you and Harriet an item off the pitch too? 2 What was it like simulating Wilfried’s dove knowing that Woy would get upset?
Hard to call this result... Our record at Palace is actually OK (at least compared to the atrocious one vs them at the Vic) and we've got some good results this season in fixtures we've done terribly in...so does this mean we'll lose? I mean, this is the team that has beaten Spurs and got 7 points at tricky places like Wolves, West Ham and Everton after we couldn't get a goal let alone win away from home if our life depended on it - but then dropped points against Fulham, Newcastle (x2) and Southampton. Perhaps inconsistent is the wrong term for a team that sits 8th in the table, as we've generally played well, just had costly moments where we didn't take our chances or committed defensive howlers (Kabs' moment of madness at Everton, that crazy 10-minute spell at Muff) - but we're certainly unpredictable! Win this one and it will be comfortably our best start in the Premier League at this stage of the season, which being well part the halfway mark will be real cause for optimism.
I may not be the first to say this... But today marks the second anniversary of the great man’s passing. So, I hope the lads can put in a performance today he would’ve been proud of. I’m sure they will.
What do you expect him to say? I much prefer a professional approach in public, we all saw what Silva was like. I'm sure behind closed doors he's more honest.
Thanks for the link. However can anyone translate this sentence from the article We know that every time we play against a team that is certainly not one of the ones that no one gives us any chance of beating, at home we need to take full advantage of that and win the game. I have read the sentence a few times and it makes less sense every time I look at it.
Bless. Remember they’re still evolving. They’re several millennia behind the rest of us but still manage to get by in an age of other-worldly miracles and wonder.
Not sure if that was sarcastic or not but... Basically he means if they play the top six they should lose. Play against anyone else they need to get something from. You could say that about 14 of the 20 teams in this league. A pointless and obvious claim from Woy.
You know that this forum appreciates the correct use of grammar. I think that’s what was being alluded to. Was it Roy who wrote that? I thought it was from their forum.
