The double jeopardy rule has given us a right royal rogering recently. Unfortunately not applying the rule only seems to apply to us .

Stupid rule really. If the penalty is missed then all that’s done is a yellow. Favours the defenders to do this more often

Kaba was alright I thought, got his toe to the ball to deny little pea. And I don’t recall any glaring mistakes

Wet spam live in a fantasy world. Like Everton.

A decent mid table team no more no less. In there in a mini league with us, Bournemouth, Leicester, and Wolves.

Great shout! No queues getting in to Pudding Lane, empty train from Bow Road to Euston, Got back to Euston before most fans and therefore a seat on the train. Back home to arrive at a party on time. Sorted, thank you!

Can't stand this bloke and his "Car Share Karaoke", or whatever it is called, the program that got him his big break in the USA, is a rip off from Peter Kay's "Car Share" series IMO!

Further more, now I know he is a spammer too, I dislike him even more

Exciting game, could have gone either way with both sides squandering chances. Like others have said, we are just a couple of players short of a side comfortably top of the mid-table league.

The game aside, one other thing of note yesterday was the 'banter' between fans towards the upper left of our section. Wet Spam had a group of 20-30 baby-faced ICF wannabes ('never will bes' more like). I don't think they faced the pitch once during the whole match, preferring to goad us with highly original chants such as 'you're sleeping with your sister'. Some of our fans responded in kind of course but when we scored our second it did threaten to spill over. A few of ours stepped on the tarpaulin between the fans and were pulled back by the stewards and then one started crawling underneath it, the Wet Spam pubescents baying like a bunch of yapping lap dogs. He was pulled back by the stewards, all very funny.

What I thought was really good was the way the stewards managed the whole situation, not yanking our fans back and bundling them down the steps to be arrested like I thought would happen, but it was all done with good humour and smiles. Even when our fan was pulled out from underneath the tarpaulin, their chief(?) steward laughed as he encouraged him back into his seat. Great example of stewarding by cooperation rather than coercion and a vast improvement on two seasons ago when their stewards were shitting themselves when things kicked off.

    I reckon it’s

Marriappa - he came on as a late sub yesterday
Deeney - was with us when he was a nippy right winger
Cathcart - we had him on loan from Alec Ferguson’s Manchester.

Great to hear a footballer using the phrase “to be fair” in a natural conversation with his teammates.

Watch the Hernandez chance again. Ball watching and lost his man. A cleaner strike and they probably score.

The love how MotD melted two facts into one. Fabianski saved his last 3 Premier League penalties and Deeney has missed his last two...….so the commentator comes out with "Fabianski has saved Deeney's last 3 penalties"...….outstanding work sir.

    I'll pencil you in.
I will pop round presently to measure up.
You will recognise my van.It has 'Leonardo di Acropolis' on the side.
I shall of course be dressed as Harry Hornet,so remove any fine porcelain,as my boots are size 427!
I will have a pencil behind my ear for further recognition.
My Spam supporting players are very quiet this morning, unlike Mr IBB, who keeps attempting to volley Ford and Arthur out of the bathroom window!

    I missed that.

I thought he said that Deeney had scored 24 out of 29 pens for Watford and Fabianski has saved his last three (meaning the last three he’s faced not Deeney’s last three)

There is funny & James Corden funny.

Just checked & I see he grew up near High Wycombe. Should be either a Chairboy or us.

My sister in law went with a Hammers fan. She said the Watford fans were brilliant. She also said it was the first time she had ever heard the phrase Muggy **** shouted. Lots IMG-20181222-WA0043.jpg

My son goes to the same drama group he did when he was a kid. He is actually alright away from his TV caricature. Equally Brendan Cole is a good chap. He's in the Wycombe panto my son is in and has been great after the shows staying back to sign autographs and selfies.

I hadn't been since Southampton and I was under the impression that the transfer window was closed. Still, in the interim, we seem to have managed to sign players called Capooway and Kweena.

I learned this from a nearby ubiquitous gob***** expert, that gave a running-mouth commentary throughout the game yesterday.

I also learned that someone called Perray-uh is ******* lazy and that Gracia's number 2 keeps telling him to make substitutions, but he won't listen.

I'm so lucky to have had access to this level of insight, it opened up entire new perspectives on the game for me.

    Excellent precautions.

The chances of failure to recognise you are negligible.

Likewise the cats. Instantly recognisable from their squashed faces, I would think.

Btw, our front door is a handsome yellow. From the Sannino season shirt.

Maybe this year’s away shirt green down the hall & through to the kitchen.

Another example of the internet creating echo chambers and filter bubbles.

West Ham fans are given their team's best moments to watch, and Watford fans get the same from their club on their site.

For each set of fans it creates false impressions that lead to false expectations - and it polarises the population in an unhealthy way.

As the expert in this kind of thing would say: "Very bad!"

I think you are spot on, that's what I heard, you could take it both ways, as I thought at the time he said Fabianski had saved the last three penalties he had faced from Deeney!
