That's actually Marco Silva, but easy mistake to make.

That's them mate, the Madrid dog and duck. Ok referring kabasele could play for any team in Madrid is preposterous but name a team out the top 5 that haven't got defenders with a mistake in them.

I can picture it now. Our main man, spent his entire career as a striker and possibly our highest earner, going along with being understudy to Craig Cathcart. I reckon if it got to that point he'd rather be off somewhere he will get a game up front. Do not underestimate the ego factor when it comes to footballers.

True, but that's not what I was arguing. I said that it would only work if the one we were keeping was the quick guy, who is Kaba. If we want to replace Kaba, a Cathcart-Deeney partnership at the back wouldn't work

Deeney dropped into left midfield whilst chalobah did some donkey work up front for a while yesterday.

Deeney and Kabasele were standing next to each other in the walmfor the free kick and i’m sure I saw Deeney gave Kabasele a shove after the ball went into the net.

Surely that’s the equivalent of Deeney having a word.

Big Conk Prickarlison obviously didn't feel the need to hold back on his celebrations when he scored against the club who gave him his debut in European football. There was no restraint out of respect from him, was there? None of it.

A full charge and knee slide, badge slapping (coughwinker!) and fist pumping - and according to reports, all conducted towards our supporters too.

Although it's been presented as 'top quality bantz', I really hope there was a bit of an edge to his voice when Gracia said afterwards:

I told him it was the first goal I see from him, because last season he didn’t score one goal for me – but then I wished him the best.

    Yeah.

    Break a leg Rich.

It was towards the corner flag opposite and away from the away end.

Ah OK, thanks. I missed the match unfortunately due to working. I only read the report in the 'I' newspaper I saw belonging to one of my senior citizens I visited this morning. That definitely said it was towards our supporters, so that shows you how reliable that rag is!

As for the celebration itself, I mean, I'd allow a few fist pumps and a bit of a hug with your new team mates.

I'd overlook that. I'm a bit of a liberal. I realise that money talks in today's game and a career in football is short. You have to make the most of it while you can.

So, yeah. No problem. A normal celebration is a bit galling to me, but I'd be prepared to swallow it, with only a little smidgeon of ill-feeling.

After all, he was only with us for a season, so I wasn't asking for a slow head-hung trudge back to his own half shrugging away all well-wishers.

    I wasn't expecting that.

But was there really a need to go slapping the badge and knee-sliding? Was there a need for quite so much exuberance in front of his former team-mates and supporters?

No, I'm firmly decided. The lad's an utter ****.

Do you know who he supported in the Brazilian presidential election? Is he old enough to have voted?

    How is your new job?

Yeah all good in the job thanks! I'm enjoying it.

One or two of 'em are a bit hard work, but the vast majority are a pleasure.

Defrosted some granny's freezer for her today. It was like the north pole in there. I got one lump of ice out that was so big, it made me stagger to carry it two-handed to the sink.

    Pay's a misery of course.

Were you, inadvertently, holding that meagre rag upside down?

Could explain the slight confusion over which corner.

Didn’t they stop play because of his screaming behind the sight screen?

A pretty awesome/revolting bodybuilder in later years.

The only time I’ve felt really pissed off for more than an hour afterwards other than Chelsea away last year.

2-1 & Richie has 2 superb chances to terminate the champions.

Richie doesn’t really sense the occasion. Runs around, shoots on sight, hopes.

Common thread is that when Bobby P hurts the oppo, we do well.

Doucs still lacking confidence but fantastic he has scored twice.

And not enough credit to Bennie ‘Arlene’ Foster. Incredible clearance.

    Hideous. The poor man.

If the film of his injury were shown in the Muff & Palarse dressing rooms before ko, the game would be the better for it.

Quina looks class, the ball for Deeney (where he conspired to balloon it over the bar from six yards) was inch perfect.

    Why would you drop Holebas?

He was arguabily one of our best players against Everton, if not our best!!!
