1-14 (fluke goal from a set piece) Hope we lose tonight, as i don't want Liverpool to win the league.
I’m with Relegation Certs on this one. I’d imagine it’ll be about 20 minutes into my recording of tonight’s match when I get home this evening before I’ve seen enough and change over, safe in the knowledge that I’m going to be a little wealthier this evening thanks to the savage beating we receive. Happy days.
Just seen the line up. I would like to retract my earlier bold prediction of a 1-0 win and change to a miserable defeat where they don't even get out of second gear and still win 4-0.
Hang on... Get Success up against Kompany's creaky legs and Deeney to push Stones about a bit and we could be onto something. 3-1 Watford.
I never thought I'd ever say this, but we are gonna really miss Carpoo, not that we have a cats chance of getting any kinda result, but, I'm staying positive. We beat the Spuds so this match ain't impossible. 0-0. After 4 minutes, then the blue moon army open up our defence as a Lion eats Cheese, Lions love a bit of it.
In the box we not gonna offer much. Deeney and Success pick the ball deep and Deulofeu who would usually be the runner in the box on occasions is on the bench. Maybe Gracia is thinking about the next game.
Should have gone 4-5-1 and played Deulofeu right mid. Him running at Delph would give us a chance (a very very very slim one). Even a possible early booking so Delph is on eggshells the rest of the game.
Prob the worst I’ve ever seen us play. Man City are a great team but ud think we were national league the way we are playing. Man City do press well but we are panicking so badly on the ball it’s embarrassing. We’re in the same league let’s give them a go and play our own game instead of shitting ourselves because we are playing the great and almighty Man City. Doucoure been horrific, bring on GD
What did we learn? Put Delia on the wing and things happen. Yes his decision making is really poor, but at least something happens. Can the idiot please now stop playing him at #10. Quina is more than ready for 1st team football, and based on Pereyra and Hughes form deserves more game time.
I'm not sure Quina is suited to the right wing either, but I agree that he looked very good when he came on - very composed on the ball, got some pace as well. I'd happily give him a go ahead of either Hughes (who was anonymous again) or Chalobah (who was just dreadful). Deulofeu needs to stop faffing about and improve his final ball. Doucoure didn't quite redeem himself with that goal. He continued to be poor in possession for most of the match. Holebas had a shocker for their second - had he tried to block it instead of turning his back he could have stopped it easily. Why couldn't Foster have been that on it in the Leicester game, instead of gifting them a cheap penalty with their first chance?!?! Can't fault the effort of the team though (except for Holebas for their second), even if the quality wasn't there a lot of the time.
That was awful. I thought Foster, Cathcart and Kabesele did well, and Quina did ok. But otherwise we were embarrassingly, Sunday League standard, poor.
Pretty dire for the majority of the game but a good last 20 or so. On another day we'd have picked up a spectacularly undeserved point from that. I liked the look of Quina, though he is very lightweight. I think he's certainly ready to play a part in the first team squad. He's a bit different from any other midfielders we have, not as combative but very skilful, tidy and quick. And we already know he has a long range goalazzo in him, which is good as... OUR STRIKERS CAN'T SCORE. Good lol at how hard Doucoure tried to mess up his goal as well. Deulefeu looked good when coming in from the right, maybe one day we'll see him start on the wing again. Everton away next then. We... go again?
Deeney is so poor. Hate when he’s in the starting line up. And even worse Success was garbage. I’m now left to pin my hopes on Gray or Okaka. How did we end up with this utter garbage up front after 4 years of premier league cash???
Nice to see Quina. I would not be shy of giving him and Wilmot more minutes. But Abu Dhabi United. What a shower of fraudsters led by the drug test avoiding bald fraud. They have ruined football to the point where a club like us is happy with a 1-2 defeat because who else can spend a billion pounds plus on trying to buy cups of metal ? That shower might well be in the Championship like Leeds and the like were it not for the petrodollars. Arseholes to a man that club and it's fans. And as for the sycophants in the media. Take your tongues out of your collective arses and that of Petrodollars Plastics United and you might realize competitive football in England is going the same way as in the Bundesliga and elsewhere.
Wonderful plucky performance from our Championship players against them. Just think, we'll play them twice a season if we get promoted. Ref cost us again by not giving that clear handball. Shameful. And the time wasting by City, against a Championship side. Sad!
It's a long term plan. Stuparevic, Cucho and this Brazilian kid are three of the most promising strikers in youth football. Hope we manage to retain the core of this side because by then we might actually have a cutting edge. Shame we missed out on Pussetto. Could end up being a di Maria type player. Or perhaps Udinese would kindly send him our way. Did I mention how much I detest Abu Dhabi United and Petrol Supplies Group ?
I absolutely hate watching us play very good teams when they outplay us. I’d rather watch us play some unfancied side with no star players any day of the week. So i wasn’t watching thinking ooh I love how good man effin city are.....BUT they made us look poor in parts because not only are they so effin good with the ball they are also one of the best without it. That game was pretty much what I expected to see. So 2-1 is unfortunately better than most of us expected and at least we were in it until the final whistle. Fairly pointless talking about individual performances today.
The commentator on my stream actually called us "the plucky challengers" within the first minute of kickoff
Holebas made Mahrez look like a £65m player...he needs to be dropped, I'm sick of his sh1t. Doucoure was awful Chalobah was awful Forgot Perreyra was playing...awful...however he scored against Arsenal 2 years ago and against Chelsea in both games so gets a free pass. Delofeu...thinks he's better than he actually is Success....awful Deeney should have scored, only started winning when Kompany went off Foster...excellent. Thought the defence (apart from Holebas) did well considering they had feck all protection from the midfield and the left back. Hate the commentators...*******...hate Man Sh!tty...this is the way of modern football and how the Champions League has decimated domestic football..good players are happy to sit on the bench or in the stands, pick up their millions with a team in the CL rather than play for lower teams. Wish they'd all feck off to their European Super League and let us start again.
