I paid for a seat and want to use it. I don't have this problem at the cinema, people standing up in front of me. If you feel you have to stand up, go to the back - or if you really can't see, politely ask the person in front to sit down. If that doesn't work, ask the stewards to remove them.
I don’t think there is much to be negative about aside from wasteful set piece delivery and ooor final balls. I enjoyed the game and I thought we deserved to win. They edged 2nd half but we dominated the first. Think Janmaat was worried about giving away a penalty with a rash challenge and unfortunately made no challenge at all. An exciting season to look forward to if we can keep injury free for a change.
Nope no wind up. If that game went on for 5-10 more minutes there was only one team that was going to win it.
If I'd thought for one second that you'd find it boring I would, naturally, never have dreamt of saying it. And if a pundit says something about Watford, well, that is scientifically conclusive. I respectfully retract my comment.
I committed to hounding him out when we were hanging on. "If we don't beat this **** Fulham side then he has to walk"
All I'm saying is we are fortunate with a point. Not hypothetical & pointless 'we should' of remarks. Surprises me how quickly you get angry & agitated to start swearing & insulting?
Agreed, 38 league goals would be a pretty decent return. Relegation Certs still won’t like him though.
I prefer to stand at away games but if someone behind me wants me to sit down I offer to swap seats. Then I will continue to stand and swap seats until I get to the point where I am able to stand. One row isn't going to affect your view so I think common sense can prevail in these situations.
A cinema and a football game are completely different scenarios, perhaps you should tell cinemas to screen games live - you'd be in your element
I'm sorry, but when you book tickets for an away game, you should expect to have people standing. People at the back of the stand were asking people to sit down. D*ck heads
14,000+ posts. Fits my theory. To summarise, perhaps too much time on your hands, angry & a bit lonely. Starts insults when someone doesn't agree with their opinion.
To be fair, walking to their ground does feel more like you’re going to the cinema than a match. Match ratings: - Capoue MOM - Gray 2nd - Kaba 3rd Fans 8/10
Why would I expect standing, unless of course they happen to have introduced safe-standing areas? They are all-seater stadiums. There's a clue there somewhere.
Because standing is what people do at away games? Fair enough if you're near the front, but don't complain about it when you've got seats at the back of the stand where people tend to not sit down
Should have won. Could have lost. But, in a game when both teams were misplacing passes at will, 30 minutes of Chalobah might have swung it our way. That said, I'm happy with a point.
Why do you always do this? Whenever you start losing an argument on here, you always retort to insulting individuals based on the amount of posts they have made, as if it is some crime to post regularly on a football forum. I like some of what you post but then sometimes you do post some bizarre stuff like that.
I was only able to watch the last 30 minutes so I can’t make any judgement on what happened previously but apparently we should have been up anywhere between 2-0 and 5-1 depending on what updates were coming through. My take on what I saw - we sat waaaaaay to deep and allowed Fulham at times to come towards us, don’t get me wrong we wernt shutting up shop but we were not playing IMO the way we should have. Not as if we should have kept attacking but we should have found some sort of happy medium where we were looking for a second goal but at th same one being wary to concede. It just seemed as soon as Fulham got the ball even within there own half that our midfield were literally 10 metres in front of our back 4 which obviously invited them down the field which was frustrating. We had a few half chances going forward which I think we played the wrong last ball and could have potentially sealed the game. But the one thing that really really got to me was about 5 minutes or so before they got their goal we had a corner and played a back pass to then pass it square and cross the ball to the other side of the field before being under pressure and end up passing back to our own keeper. !! From our own corner !! I don’t get why the **** they would even think of these tactics when leading 1 nil with approx 15 to go. As I said I only watched the last 30 minutes so that’s all I can make judgment on but apparently the first half was much more pleasing. We still played the ball around nicely through midfield but just seemed we set up to play for the 1nil which is ********
