Mina looks a monster of a player. Very handy in both boxes.
So many stories going around about him going here or there, even staying at Barca.
I would love to see him come.

I'd love a toilet seat made out of solid gold but there's just as much chance of that happening as signing this guy.

If I had a toilet seat made out of solid gold, it's clear I'd never be situated in a cold climate for any part of the year.

Can free agents still be signed after the transfer window has shut?

Have you just switched allegiances now that there's a potentially more successful club that play in gold in the Prem? Glory hunter!

I think it was more the constant cheese puns. I fear our gates may fall below the old Div 4 days come the start of the season.
ps Cheese puns sound great. Cheese and a cross of a bun and a pitta.

Yea but not sure how it works with squad announcements, I don't know when the squad needs to be finalised. We would potentially have to leave a spot free for him so wouldn't make any sense.

Usually the squads had to be submitted to the PL on 1st September, with the window closing much earlier I suspect that the list has to be submitted no later than the week after the first matches are played.

Think of the excess baggage charges to carry the thing around with you on your global pooing tour.

Not 100% but I have a feeling they'll stick to 1 Sept. Otherwise the board will be sat having to deal with loads of requests to make amendments as players leave for other countries and need to be replaced.

According to Neil Warnock, premier league squad deadline for submission is 9 August. FL is three weeks later.

Fair enough. Do you have a link? Unless it's changed since we went up but EFL clubs don't submit squads in the same way as PL clubs...

An article from Turkish site Fotomac has appeared this morning naming Watford once again in pursuit of Reyes.
If anything the main point they make is Fenerbah*e are being pushed aside due to the number of sides chasing the player.
Watford, West Ham, Newcastle and now Bordeaux have put forward offers.
Reyes seems either indecisive or isn't impressed by the offers currently put to him as to where he wants to go next.

The last paragraph lists two players Fenerbah*e are looking at instead, namely Bruno Martins Indi (Stoke City) and Kara Mbodj (Anderlecht).
The favourite seems to be Martins Indi with Southampton's Jack Stephens replacing him at Stoke.

At least that's how I interpret a somewhat tangled jumble of words spat out by Google translate!

    https://www.fotomac.com.tr/fenerbahce/2018/07/30/reyesin-kafasi-karisik?f=sm&utm_source=twitter.com

The Mexican stopper, who offered to bid on the offer, is experiencing great hesitation. Watford aspires to be the last, Fenerbah*e's chances are a little lower.

Diego Reyes, who does not extend Porto's contract but has released it, many clubs are getting appetite because of the lack of a fee. Fenerbah*e is also one of the teams who take the opportunity to transfer Mexican stoppers. However, Canary did not have a finisher strike for Reyes due to the increasing number of tales. After West Ham and Newcastle United, Bordeaux was in the hands of a 25-year-old player who was in the hands of the prosecutor. Now, Watford sent a proposal to Reyes. British media reports stressed Reyes was indecisive due to the proposals.

One of Canary's stopper candidates is the Dutchman Bruno Martins of Stoke City along with Senegalese Kara Mbodj from Anderlecht. The island team proposed Jack Stephens, a British stopkeeper, to Stoke City for his 26-year-old defense player. While the two clubs were negotiating, the Dutch press wrote that Indi was "close to F." Renting Canary's offer.

Mention of a 'prosecutor' surely seals the deal! He can join our illustrious 'Lags Eleven' if his antecedents are suitably bad.
