Just expanding the [thread_drift]@oxhey67 [/thread_drift] and I were having: what other teams' footy "colours" do you wear? Mine: 1. Very, very tatty England sky-blue Mexico '90 airtex shirt (TOFFS). 2. Dukla Prague* (TOFFS). 3. Lithuanian national team. 4. I keep saying I'm going to get a B'wood FC (away) and a Corinthian Casuals (home). *Of course it's the away top - what are you some sort of ****?
Bought and wore a Germany '92 shirt, prior to that went down Carnaby Street and got a B0llocks To Luton T-shirt made and wore it away at Derby. It amused the local plod there.
SPQR?! I have a couple of Fiorentina shirts, one a TOFFS,the Kappa Italy shirt. I never wear them, infact I'm not sure where they are!
Got a few I wear for running, usually with a pair of Watford shorts: Partizan Belgrade - home shirt - went to Partizan v Čukarički on holiday a couple of years ago. Borac Banja Luka (Bosnian premijer liga) - away shirt - last summer's holiday took in Borac v Vitez at Banja Luka Gradski Stadion. VVV Venlo - saw a 2-2 draw between them and Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie on feb. Rapid Vienna - home shirt - went to see them beat FK Admira after the Vienna marathon a couple of months again. Armenia - home shirt - as I'm 25% Armenian.
This week I will mainly be sporting a paisley cravat. St Mirren or Minneapolis? Do your own ******* research.
Besides Watford and England, I've got a Mexico away top and a Vancouver Whitecaps hoodie because MLS jerseys are preposterously expensive. Those being my other two teams.
My 'other team' is Los Industriales - the Man Utd of Cuban baseball. Big headed, big shots who ought to win the league every season, but somehow don't, to the delight of everyone else... I wear my Industriales shirt often...
I'm off to Cuba for a week in the winter. Anything I should take with me to provide the poor victims of communism/extreme socialism ? Pens, chocolate, bigger tips for the hospitality staff ?
Watford various home and away ones through the years. A couple of England shirts, Euro 2000 and WC 2002 I think and a Peru national shirt.
I'd recommend taking a sense of humility with you along with a determination to try to speak Spanish, integrate with the people and avoid "giving it the American", as Cubans term it. Don't demand stuff. Don't talk loudly and aggressively in English at people whilst waving your hands around. Don't insist on seeing the manager. Don't insist on making the complaint official. Don't treat people like they're just there to wait on you hand and foot. Instead. Sit back. Relax. And enjoy your holiday.
Barcelona shirt from 20 years ago. Fiorentina shirt that I was given by a fan in London. white with the sponsor Fiorrucci on the front. Torquay and Albion Rovers completes the set
Good to see that Cuba has installed a manager. Given the lamentable state of the Cuban economy, a cool head in the boardroom is essential.
If I were an @rse supporter, this might concern me: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/foot...enal-considering-move-senegals-world-12861575 Are they determined to become worse than us?
