That to me is a youth thing, he can learn and become something really special. I remember Ronaldo getting to Man U as raw talent, trying to do too much and getting labelled a one trick pony. I think the kid needs to be cut a bit of slack and work on his team game.

Totally. The guy is quality and will only get better. Only 20 in a new country and without having a break for a long time. Hope he stays but if he doesn't someone is getting a very special player.

I think he ll be gone in summer. Potentially a great player with a good attitude for sure. But there are plenty more where he came from and if someone offers 40mill he ll be gone .

I don't think Richie is that special or that his ceiling is especially high - he reminds me of a slightly less good Memphis Depay, more determination and grunt-work than actual quality, albeit with the odd flash of real class, and ultimately pretty ineffective.

Would immediately net us 2 goals per season that he couldn't score against us.

Just watched Southampton v Bournemouth match. Lemina was absolute class. Looks like he's up to speed for the Premier. Strong, deceptively quick, mobile, even his passing was crisp and accurate. He's been a little hit and miss since he arrived but would love to see him in our midfield next season. Would ease the loss of Doucoure.

Time to start picking at the Stoke bones me thinks.

I don't really know why they went down because they have quite a bit of talent at their club, not least their GK, CB and their strikers. There will be plenty of teams in there scrapping for the bones of their team, and we should definitely be in there with them.

Wouldn’t mind Zouma. Chelsea loaned him to Stoke, maybe we can take him permanently. Chelsea will spend and I doubt he will get into the starting 11.

Also wouldn’t mind Shaqiri, Butland or Shawcross. However they will all go to better clubs than us.

Thought Eric Pieters looked decent yesterday so would be a good addition and wouldn’t break the bank. Wouldn’t want Shaqiri, doesn’t seem to be a big team player and his tracking back is abysmal. Would much rather have one of Matt Phillips or Nathan Redmond. Even one of the ayew brothers would be a good option and well within our financial reach.

Not too sure about Phillips, but would agree about Redmond. To me, he's always seemed to be a thorn in our side and I'd much rather have him as a - er, thorn in our side.

If you know what I mean...

I think I read somewhere that this weekend's goal was Redmond's first this season... after 40 shots.

Redmond is 0ne of those players, like Townsend and Ince, that people seem to rate but don't actually watch them play.

Butland rumoured to be going to Wolves for £35m, reckon they could do well next season or the next QPR

Given how awful the league is this year, they could easily challenge for Europe with the players they'll inevitably bring in

How about Daniel Sturridge, didn't get a chance on loan at West Brom and I wouldn't be suprised if Liverpool wanted to loan him out again. 48 goals in 98 games for Liverpool.

    There's your reason.

Transfermarkt doesn't even have his West Brom injury on it yet but he's missed 120 games in his professional career due to injury and illness. Can we afford to pay massive wages to someone like that??

If Swansea go down, I would not mind going in for Fabianski he's a decent Keeper me thinks.
