No, spoken like someone thoroughly fed up with reading the kind of hysterical drivel posted by know-nothing numpties like Squibba every time we fail to win a match
So how do you feel Lloyd? Enjoying the football at the moment? Happy with the managerial situation? Happy with the team we’re fielding? Happy with the injuries? Check my posts, I don’t moan every time we lose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To answer your questions: •. Taking the last 3 games, the performances against Bournemouth and Burnley were pretty good, I thought. Huddersfield we did ok and, in patches, played nicely but lacked a goal threat. So, yes, •. Gracia has been a qualified success. I'd like to see what he could do with some new players next season but wouldn't be shocked if he got the bullet. So, again, yes •. Clearly I'd prefer it if one or two players like Cleverley, Delafou etc were fit and I'd like to see Deeney playing with a partner, but overall I think the team is fine • See above
Nope. Just that I've never come across a complete one before. So I was interested in what might make one tick.
I said it before Huddersfield, hopefully we'll see a change in selection and formation next match, with a few tweaks I think Gracia can still make this team competitive.
You surely will Squibba. Post 2630040 was a very good reading moment indeed. As was Stevie Palmer's 96th minute equalising moment at York in AD 732 or thereabouts. It's all relative, but none of it is real. Keep the Faith SCG
The human gene pool. As are you, you lonely, worthless Goblin. If this becomes a regular feature of away games, I can think of no more deserving target for a Sarin-filled Barrel Bomb.
What's wrong with it? The defensive failings clouded two very good performances against Bournemouth and Burnley. Gracia has assured us safety, it's not his fault he has an atrocious defence to work with, give him some new players and give the guy a chance.
You could always not bother going to away matches and give your seat/standing ticket to someone more deserving, for example anyone who isn't you. What's with the unnecessary capitals at the beginning of many of the nouns you use?
Oh, no reason really, I just find it aesthetically pleasing. As regards my reasons for going to matches, I do so mainly because I otherwise wouldn't get to meet up with a number of friends, who I only see at football, as we don't live near one another. I appreciate that meeting up with friends is not a consideration of your own when going to football, content as you seem to be to sit in the Estcourt Arms, all by your self.
Two very good performances? What on earth are you watching? Consider what you've seen recently to the start of the season, the players don't give a toss anymore.
Liz. Is the Stranglers fan the Goblin that was nicking the car in the stayshun car park? If so, shame on you and your family, you elvish larsenist you.
I though Bournemouth was ok but they let us attack in a sense which helped and against Burnley we had a bright period but not too many clear cut chances before they scored. After that - well yes they spent the rest of the game time wasting but don't think we even had an effort OFF target to speak of despite having quite a few attackers on the pitch. We are hopeless after falling behind unless we get a bit of luck like against Leicester at home.
I've never been in the Estcourt Arms! But if it suits you to think it is me in there, go for it. Let me guess, is it someone who dresses in black?
I doubt that Gracia will be the manager for the start of the 2018/19 season. In the Premier League or Championship. Prodl, Mariappa, Britos, Holebas, Okaka, Sinclair, Bachmann and all the other wasters should be shipped out of the club. Too many wasters on the books. Players who do not care and are simply not good enough. As many have mentioned already, the season has gone a similar way as the past two seasons. The only difference this season was that we had Silva as manager at the start of the season. How different it seemed back then. Flowing football, team unity and ambition. How the fans bought into the feeling that this could be a season to cherish. Then we shot our load in our pants too early and she noticed. Since then we have been clinging on the the hope that we may see get another chance to prove that it can last longer. Alas, it has been toilet football for too long. It feels that it could be such a waste of time to watch Watford again next season. There have been some excellent posts this week on the forum. Most of them follow the same theme, utter disappointment in Watford FC. I have no idea how the board will solve the issues. Gracia is not the answer at all and do the board have the contractual power to let go of all the deadwood? Some say that we should be grateful for being in the Premier League, but that mean as fans we should settle for sheer dross from the players most weeks. Surely the Owner and the board can see it? They must know how the fans feel and how the ship is sinking each season in the Premier. OK , we may stay up again, but a time will come where there are simply too many holes to fill and will go down. What have the fans got to look forward to next season? Who will leave or should leave? Who will come in or even want to come? We have Pontus Dahlberg, he has the skills to to become a great keeper and knows how to stand up for himsef. Right now, that is it.. There is a good chance that we may not gain another point this season. That is not acceptable at all, but it is Watford. I feel that the fans should walk out at the end of the last home game before the players come back out for their walkabout. This way they will see how the fans feel and what it means to them. Well, at least Annecy FC will get promotion this season, though it is a dark cry from the days of the Ligue 1 as Evian TG.
Admirable passion, but what makes you think ****inson, Cowie and Forsyth gave 110% yet some of our current players aren't. This argument comes up every time we go through a bad run. To me it looks like they are trying but are just making mistakes and losing.
Now that we've established that Hoddesden Tennis Club is our second favourite team - or to some their absolute favourite - we're all agog to know the answer to the question that Geoff Shreeves would certainly have asked. IBB, how pleased were you with that victory?
Oh get over yourself. Biggest pile of OTT rubbish on this thread. It starts badly when you lump together those who don't bother with those who do care but are not up to standard, thrown in to an injury-ravaged team. The rest is cliche-ridden bile that has little grounding in reality or sense. You finish with an absurd request for the last match of the season. Utter miserable drivel. We are a small Premiership club with comparatively little money and no chance of competing on a par with the big boys, like most of the rest of the clubs there. Most seasons in this league are going to be like this. I have emboldened one comment you've made - if you feel that way, please don't go to the Vic any more and give up your seat to someone who is not riddled with a sense of entitlement.
In this moment, Hoddesden are in a good moment. However that moment can change so we focus set by set.
