Any ideas how many we have sold for this one? I need another ticket but will have to wait for general sale
Hope this sodding snow clears up before Tuesday evening otherwise the journey there and back is gonna be a nightmare. Wonder what the odds are of it being postponed...
A very cold night is forecast tonight and more snow forecast for tomorrow here and in Croydon. Must be a doubt I suppose.
Every premier league club must have undersoil heating so the pitch will be fine. The stands, roads and icey pavements must be a concern though. Then again, I expect the club to have made efforts to clear the snow and ice in good time...
Mark Clattenburg and Graham Poll both pretty much said the same thing in the papers. More worrying they suggested he can make a dive look quite convincing...
I've travelled by train for the last two seasons Your Reverence and from WGC it is quite straightforward, even for someone who gets lost going to the bathroom! Thornton Heath or Norwood Junction aren't far from Victoria IIRC and both are about 5 minutes from The Stadium of Egg and Chips. Well he's had plenty of practice hasn't he?!
London Bridge to Norwood Junction, takes about 20-25 mins, trains fairly regular. 15 min walk to the ground.
Thanks all - I was thinking of going from Watford Junction to Clapham Junction and down from there, but you've convinced me to stick with the Euston - Victoria option. Enjoy your evening (and may the Lord be with us!!)...
This has been a useful thread as I work near Victoria and I will be going to the game straight from work. Thanks all.
Don't be fooled by that phoney. No vicar would say us, the lord is already with him, he would say May the Lord be with you.
He is less maudlin than he has been. Whether deep down in the depths of his psyche that amounts to confidence, only he can answer! I am just about to head out. COYH!
If we are in the same division as Palace next season, can somebody do a Steve Redgrave and shoot me if I show the slightest inclination of attending! Live and learn,or in my case, live!
