Peñaranda has been told he is definitely in the Malaga 25 this season, he has been given the number 16 and told to buck his ideas up,.
Sorry for the lack of knowledge regarding Penaranda, but what do you mean by that? Has he got an attitude?
I had to be dragged off a porcelain throne at work by three men once. Really didn't fancy working that morning.
According to the Herts Mercury he will be getting his Spanish passport soon. http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....-before-2018/story-30526895-detail/story.html
In my mind you made the exact face and gesture as your avatar when you hit the post reply button then
£50mill. Are we selling him in instalments? Good news on Penaranda, raw but enormous potential, might we see him in Jan, with Okaka leaving?
He's back and he's serious! He's moved his family over with him to keep him on the straight and narrow, hired a personal nutritionist and gone on a diet, got rid of the peroxide blonde hair and now wears plain black boots. The Venezuelans are so excited about it that one of them has made a highlights video of his 18 minute sub appearance at the weekend. Worth watching for one of the most pathetic dives you'll ever see from a Sevilla defender:
Will never be good enough to wear the yellow shirt. 2 years after being the hottest prospect from Sth America he is now making 18 minutes sub appearances for Malaga and people are getting excited ?
Excited for his potential. Being surrounded by quality players like Richarlison and Preyera will help, as will having a decent Head Coach whilst being supported by some of the more experienced players like Gomes, Deeney, Marriapa etc.
You're 2 months too late pal, I've already called it: He's the shittest player never to have played for us. Relegation Certs, Aug 3, 2017
Good to see he's got his focus back. Think he could do well in the EPL if he lives up to the promise he showed at Granada. Like Richarlison, he's got the skill but he also has the physical strength to deal with the English game.
Still can't believe the farce that didn't allow him to come here as exceptional talent. All we had to do was wait until FIFA 18 came out and show the FA his FIFA card. 75 overall with an 85 potential rating. That's a gold card all day.
He looks promising in that from the little there is - he might have had a recent little growth spurt, has good close control, is keen to turn and run at the defence and looks to be able to take big, quick strides with the ball. Three players typically go to hound him down whenever he turns. The injury looks like it hasn't done anything to his pace either. Richarlison seems a pretty good comparison, though Penaranda looks like he still needs a bit more time to fill out his frame.
I like the way he's mastered the hand on the shoulder death strike and uses it to kill the Seville no 4
Yeah it was. Gino also kidnapped the England coach's family and forced him to say that Penaranda was an 'exceptional talent'.
Penaranda is same age as Richarlison and Chalobah but a long way behind in the development. Not saying he cant become as good as them, but hes not ready for our first team for a year or two yet.
Chalobah is 2 years older. Is he worse than he was at 20? I don't think so, excluding last season he was doing very well at a la liga side
Ideally Gino will buy another club to ensure their young players get great coaching and plenty of minutes. We're out of the only cup in which they'd get a chance, and the u23s is essentially pointless.
He had some good games but was behind Success in his performance levels at Granada. Success rarely even makes the bench for us this season.
I guess it comes down to opinion and perception. I would have put Success and Penaranda at similar levels of development at Granada. They both showed good strength and demonstrated high levels of natural ability. But both were prone to mistakes with their decision making. Doucoure always looked the best and most mature of the 3 but I really think that both Penaranda and Success still have the potential to be very good. I am more optimistic about Penaranda now he is more focused. He was also played out wide for Granada at times when I think he would be more suited, and seems to prefer, playing down the middle. Hope to see him here in January and have a run out in the FA cup and then see how he gets on.
Totally agree, not every player flowers as early as Richarlison. Im hoping that watching and training with Richarlison and Carillo has made Success learn about his defensive and tactical duties as he can be a real game changer.
Correct We are in the wonderful position of having class players already so we don't have to rely on Penaranda or Success. If they prove themselves we could have a couple of great players for the future. If they don't I'm sure the Pozzos can get their money back on them. It's a very good time to be a hornet!
Don't know if he will ever be good enough to play for the mighty Horns. 4 months after being one of the players of the tournament (whilst carrying an injury), and three months after a serious operation he is now making 18 minutes sub appearances for Malaga and people are writing him off already?
From Adam Leventhal: Update on #WatfordFC No news on new incomings but understand Adelberto Penaranda has been granted a Spanish passport allowing him to take up place in squad - situation not 100% finalised but positive news for club and player.
