On a more serious note, hopefully Silva the sort of manager who can use one unexpected defeat to make sure a second doesn't follow it. Can't see us winning comfortably, Brighton will sit back like Bristol did and be hard to break down. We aren't looking massively comfortable at the back, so it's down to our midfield to help them out and our Attack to be able to break down a team parking the bus.

I reckon we will nick it by one goal.

Yeah. No rota this year. It's just utter, utter chaos!!!

    Yours will do for me!

Judging by their first 2 games they seem to have nothing up front and we have scored 5.

All points to a 2 or 3 nil victory to us.

As it's watford though I've no doubt we will make life hard for ourselves, be complacent and be generally predictably unpredictable so I imagine 2-0 Brighton.

One small victory in that is that it may put Brighton ahead of Palace which would pee them eagles off no end!

Last one from me, I won't be able to follow this one at all as I'm getting married on Saturday! Brighton happens to be the closest team to me and so there will be a few Brighton fans at the wedding....hoping I have the bragging rights come the speeches!

Back down to earth with a bump for this pundit.

We'll have all the early possession but no cutting edge.

Suddenly, 2 minutes before half time, 1-0 Brighton. Gomes howler.

Second half, we huff and we puff, but fail to blow their defence down. Gray misses 2 absolute sitters.

    Brighton break away, score.

Final score: Watford 0 Brighton 2

    Silva out.

So Knockharts diving will earn us a shed load of cards. Hmmm.

Congrats dude. Hope the day goes well. Remember to take a moment at any opportunity to take a step back with your partner for 5-10 minutes and savour the moment. It'll go so quickly so find time away from everyone to reflect. :)

And hope the boys win for you.

I know a few things about Brighton to brighten this thread up:

Its impossible to tell where Brighton ends and Hove begins....

The centre is full of homeless people

The place stinks to high heaven of urine for weeks after Pride, I'm told the reason is lack of lavatories to handle the volume of visitors

    The beach is rubbish

    The pier is rubbish

The Cricketers in the lanes is a great old skool pub and there is a decent tapas place around the corner

Good place for a night out

Looking forward to seeing Knockaert get wound up by our fans and end up tying himself up in knots trying to prove a point again.

Brighton is a luvvie-polluted, over-priced, over-policed, less pleasant version of Margate. Do the local cops still hide themselves on the approach roads in order to ticket any unfortunate careless motorist who might go 3mph over the limit or park with a millimetre of tyre on the white line between parking spaces?

And at least Margate has some pristine golden sands to enjoy, rather than a steeply-sloped, eye-wateringly pongy, bland expanse of builder's rubble with all bits of rotting seaweed, old condoms and abandoned disposable nappies jammed down between the debris and stinking away gently.

I wouldn't give you a thank you for a holiday in Brighton to be honest.

I don't mind brighton. Couple of hours on the train, direct from snorbens city last time I went. Beach is ok. Pier is delightfully tacky. Shopping in the lanes is good. Generally a nice place.

Brighton will come and sit very deep and defend defend defend and defend more.
They will have one outlet ball down the right to Kockkart who will aim to win free kicks off of Britos at left back
After countless chants of "his going to dive in a minute" from the 1881 and continued Lee Cook style abuse from the LGT ( can I use those letters in a Brighton thread ? ) he will eventually hobble off 10 minutes into the 2nd half to chants of "self populater"
The game will fizzle out into a 1-0 win for the Horns with a worldy from almost 3 years from Kabasele after Gray has missed another 10 year sitter similar to Tuesday night.
Slight crowd trouble will mean that 3 dyslexics will be ejected

Brighton have go no points on the board so far, but with a bit of luck on Saturday they should be able to double that.

And you can get Fullers ESB in the Basketmakers.
That alone makes Brighton a good place.
Also they have an excellent dental implant clinic. (Well Hove actually)

Nice bunch of people, so let's make them as welcome in Watford, as they did us on that memorable occasion at Brighton.
