I became aware of them because my daughters insisted on having Pop Idol or whatever it was on on Saturday evening and I glanced up and thought 'you can't be serious'. They then disappeared from my conciousness until a couple of evenings ago when I heard Kevin Bacon selling mobile phone packages on the basis of free Little Mix something or other. I glanced up and thought 'you can't be serious'.

 

Which one is he banging? They all look pretty ropey tbh. Won't be long before you see them wondering around on a match day taking selfies.

Lots of angry Spurs, Everton, Newcastle and Burnley fans over this deal, I love it.

What makes me smile though is the clutching at straws from Burnley fans. Just like the Derby fans when we signed Hughes for £4.5mil, they claimed it was £8mil rising to £10mil.

Same with the Chelsea fans, we signed Chalobah for £5mil, Chelsea fans decided that there was a buy back clause and 20% sell on clause inserted.

Now the Burnley fans are choosing to believe the £18.5mil sum instead of Sky's £11.5mil sum. I even saw one Burnley fan on Twitter claim it's £18.5mil rising to £22mil haha. I love it!

On a side note, WBA fans are now coming out the closet, claiming this was the deal they were waiting for as it now allows Troy to join them haha.

I really don't have much time for the fans on twitter/Facebook etc. saying we shouldn't sign him because he sent some bigoted tweets when he was 21 years old

Our very own captain, leader, legend booted someone in the head whilst he lay on the floor and we all know how that turned out.

Watford fans complaining about this remind me of ignorant fans of other clubs who call Deeney a thug, ignoring the fact that his mistake as a young man was the catalyst that turned him into a brilliant role model for the club on and off the pitch as well as in the community

What Gray did was wrong, but it isnt close to being comparable in severity to even what Deeney did and therefore Gray should be afforded at the very least the same clean slate and second chance that Troy was

 

I do agree with him about Whitney Houston.

 

This is what we've been waiting for! Pacey young English striker whose been scoring goals in the premier league already. I believe he can score more at WFC too because our midfielders are a lot more creative this year ie. Cleverly, Hughes, Perreyra, Chalobah, Doucoure COYH!

This (near, WP permitting) transfer has caught me by surprise so I was thinking who else is out there. I couldnt think of many. With pace and experience, able to lead line on own but also link up.

Could we? Or are we happy and content?

 

Why are you so confident that the WBA fans haven't got this bang on - i would say it is 50/50

 

If Spurs or Liverpool were signing him, the media would be w**king themselves off about how great a player he is, worth the money, future England star.

Because he's potentially signing for us, he's 'overrated', 'a waste of money', 'transfer market gone mad'.

Take his previous transgressions out of the equation, we're signing a player who's proven in the Premier League in a styleless team that if it's £12m is good value and if it's £18m, then a little overpriced but to be expected in today's market.

I'd rather have Gray than someone like Perez who's played a handful of games in a dominant team and done nothing.
