I usually prefer the away kit but this is horrific.

The photoshoot looks exactly like the last one (background, poses etc) plus 2 players who have been together in the squad less than a season. Most, if not all, of the past fake kits releases ive seen previously have been just pics of the kit.. never seen one with people in.

I'd be very surprised if this isnt for real.. and yes a poor effort to design a "Watford" kit. I honestly think i could design a kit more in keeping with club tradition.. in about 5 minutes!

If this is our kit, its alot better than the home kit. However the home kit is starting to grow on me.

If stripes make you look thinner and hoops fatter, what will the diagonal one do?

Is it just me or are these actually pretty cool? I wish we had the guts for something like this.

Also, re: our away kit, it's actually pretty decent, just annoying that it looks exactly like Middlesbrough's home kit last season. I'd rather have it than the home shirt.

I've changed my mind about the away kit, after looking at high quality pics of it on twitter, it looks really nice!

In fact, even though the template is the same as Middlesbrough 2015/16 kit the colouring looks much better (i.e the blue on Boro's one looks horrible)

Gives us the scope for a classic "yellow/red/red " combo when needed (Bournemouth away definitely, perhaps Southampton, maybe Newcastle, Man Utd, etc).

High-quality pictures look nice. Much better than last season's away kit, that's for sure.

So we've taken Hull's manager and Middlesbrough's kit. Anything we can steal from Newcastle to complete a sweep of the northeast?

Hopefully they've made some alternative red shorts with black or yellow stripes. Although judging on last season where we clashed shorts away to loads of teams (West Ham, Everton, Burnley to name a few) we'll probably just wear the full home kit at Bournemouth.

Away kit looks a bit Liverpool circa 2010 crossed with that Boro kit. Not "Watford" enough for me so i thought i'd fix that :)

Since Pickford signed with Everton, there is nothing within 30 kilometres of Sunderland worth taking.

Trying to put off the opposition's strikers is the plan here. Interesting idea. Could work!

Without our badge on it, it looks like it could easily be a Man Utd home shirt. Even the typeface of FxPro looks similar to their old sponsor AIG.

I remember having a very long discussion about this with @hollywoods_b1tch. I always thought that a grey kit would be best as the keeper would merge into the crowd and in the split second before shooting a striker wouldn't see him. He said that there was a lengthy discussion about this on talksport (?) when the first dayglo goalie kits came out where it was explained that the human brain was evolutionary hard-wired to shoot/kick/throw something at any brightly coloured/clearly defined target (a discussion that you would have thought flown over the heads of - ho! ho! - of the average talksport listener, although they may have been wearinbg hi-vis vests at the time thus proving the supposition).

Wow Adidas were really lazy. Not that it's such a terrible kit... Coulda been a bit more updated/changed but compared to that, the kit is exactly the same except for the sponsors, badge and the patch of black on the shorts.

Would it be stingey to buy an Ayr United 2016/17 away kit on the cheap to then sew a Watford badge on it?

Or you could buy a blank one here for £22, then take it to the shop and ask them to print the sponsor on the front (although you'll still need to sew the badge on yourself)?!

Lets be honest here, its f@@king sh@t lazy dross, from one of the worlds biggest sports companies.

They would not try this with a bigger club. I hope the sales are awful.

Worst still is the fact Watford have not done their homework, and gone along with the bloody thing.

Its a third choice kit. End of.
