It's certain its not a newbie, wolf or seer.

Not that is remotely helpful since that Ed Cohen chap is the only name I don't know

Agreed. They also have a tin ear when it comes to rhythm in their poem. Not sure that helps much though.

It doesn't really benefit the seer to be cryptic. Can they be as clear as possible please, especially in future days...

It's definitely advanced play, and so I really hope that is the seer rather than the wolf.

Hmmm very imaginative first message. The second message does not really help to distinguish between the two. I almost feel like the first message is a wolf trying too hard to impress.

My inclination though would be that both powerjugs and cb are good at this stage. I think its quite unlikely at this stage that the wolf would play the 'ill clear myself card.' Of course as the wolves don't know one another or the traitor, we cant rule either out definitively.

So we now have both messages one saying Powerjugs and one saying Cassetti's Beard.

So our wolf has named a player as good.

So who's played Seer/Werewolf before and done something similar post style wise?

At least the messages are early (Thank you both! Makes a huge difference to me at least!). Chances are they both are good so voting is going to be completely random.

I like the idea of a poem but agree that, if it's the Seer, please don't make them too cryptic. So PowerJugs and CB both named as good. Nothing really to go on. One of them is definitely good, as has been viewed by the Seer. The other one could be good or evil but probably isn't the Alpha - it would be too great a risk for a wolf to name themselves this early. So presumably the Wolf has picked a random to name as good without knowing either way, in the hope that one of the named players will be lynched and keep the heat off themselves.

Which still leaves an extremely high chance of a good guy being lynched. :/

    Agree re: early posting.

Hmm really clever wolfie play thus would expect a player who has been a Wolfe before , might have to delve into past games for a look see.

That is a very very risky card to play. A clever wolf would not implicate himself at all.

I've got a feeling that the first message was over elaborate for a seer but then the second was too short and straight to the point to be a seer!

Happyhornet raised a good point in rules thread. Just to be clear for any new players, the seer only finds out if someone is good or evil. They do not find out the exact role of the person in question.

    Liking the activity so far!

There's sometimes been a Wolf or Seer who's done similar post styles but it's nothing like this one from what I've read from previous. Emulation or adaption?

Yes. Its a good tactic for evil because this early there wont be much to go on. The seer is very likely to view a good player (high probability) Without anything to go on people will be saying "those are the only names we have" and one will end up lynched on the spurious basis of which we deem to be the wolf message

Agreed. I don't think the wolf would risk putting their own name in the frame this early on, and unless they named someone else evil which is highly unlikely odds, we should possibly steer cleer of lynching either of these 2 for now.

No point voting for him then as he will be killed off anyway. I'm voting for Moog

Conversely we may be a higher risk to be Wolfed, as they will know we're not a Traitor or Wolf.
