It's been suggested in a transfer thread elsewhere. https://mobile.twitter.com/SkySportsNewsHQ/status/820931508013826048 He's supposedly informed Stoke he wants to leave. Boro are most likely to come in with an offer. He also uses the same agent as Karanka and Valdes. Definitely a player with looking at though.
Considering they just bought Gestede and Bamford looks close too. Will they be going for another forward? The 8 million sounds to good to not have a look. Hogan is being valued at 15 and he has never played at any decent level.
So - he can't get on Stokes bench - so why would anyone automatically assume he would improve us? Lets not sign average players in panic mode
According to Wiki he has been at Stoke since July 2014, which means that he'll qualify as home grown this summer. Sounds like a good move.
He's a very good player. I've no idea what the problem is at stoke but I doubt it's that he's not good enough
WD Sport @WDSport_ · 6 mins ago Sorry Watford fans but we understand that Bojan is not on the club's radar
Please desist from making up false quotes from WDSport who are no longer in operation. This could be considered libellous as they had a 100% record of being right on transfers and the damage to their reputation could be significant.
I understand how we seem to use it - but signing loads of average players is no use at all as the squad limit is 25 and you can only play 11 at time - we need 2 or 3 more high quality ones in Cleverley style not Bojan/Zarate - Gabbiadini (who is more a 10 than a 9) would be a start and a left wing back (Jenkinson on loan would have been perfect before the bung meister stuck has northern beak in) - ditch Parades / Guedioura & Sinclair +7m for Hogan and fund the lot by selling Ighalo for 15 - 20m to Hong Kong Kitchen united
Jenkinson is a right fullback. Overstocked in that position. Hogan is unknown quality in the premier, so I would keep Sinclair for starters. Gabbiadini is a class act and would give great options in the forward line. Brady I can understand for LWB.
I think he's a good player personally. I remember watching a game of theirs on BT sport where they won about 3-0 against one of the big boys (I want to say Man City?) and he was am absolute menace. Good dribbling, intelligent movement and very quickly got the ball from deeper positions in to areas where Shaqiri and particularly Arnautovic could have an influence. Maybe hasn't done it often enough at Stoke is the only reason I can think they'd let him go.
Singing fringe players with the potential to play better, from mid-table premier league clubs? Yes please.
He had a bad injury and some stoke fans think he isn't the same. Still think he could do a job for us though.
