Can anyone give me a clue as to what this clue may be about? Or, give me a clue as to what the clue of what this clue is about?

Seriously though, I have a theory. I bet the deer has become more active today than they were yesterday. This is because, without anything to go on, us villagers have all said that we will vote off an inactive player, so the deer will have realised that he/she needs to post in order not to be that inactive player.

So, who posted quite a small amount yesterday, but has been far more active today? I'll have a closer look later but that's who I am going to go for.

Thanks. I won't be finished playing until after 8pm so will still vote before 6. Just before anyone says my early vote is peculiar!

Regarding the "clue" - initially it seemed like an obvious attempt to mislead people but then other people said they couldn't see one so that confused me. Maybe I've derailed the whole game by seizing on something wasn't actually meant to mean anything, but if it is deliberate it's somewhat ingenuous as it's not only if you see it that's important, it's when you see it.

At least two people have since followed the path of the "clue" but haven't admitted to doing so which makes me somewhat suspicious of them...

Yep, posted earlier. Pub's still open, but as I am at the At Our Place tonight it will have to close early!
(won't be able to vote whilst travelling, so my vote will be earlyish)

Right. So going on my theory. Below are links to see how many posts everyone has made on day 1 & day 2.

    Day 1: http://www.wfcforums.com/misc.php?do=whoposted&t=59184
    Day 2: http://www.wfcforums.com/misc.php?do=whoposted&t=59190

The only person who's vote count has increased, is Cassetti's Beard. Probably wrong, but maybe he has increased his vote count in order to not be one of the more inactive ones and therefore be at risk of a lynching?

Got nothing else to go on so putting my vote there.

Hmmmm I think you may be playing into team evils hands.

Quite possibly! I've never played before so I'm not sure how devious people are...

    That's some fine work

Or i had a busy day yesterday and less busy one today? I'm team good and you'll see that if you vote me out

    Seer can view me tomorrow

Ok. So I think I've spotted the "clue" but think it may be a red herring, or I've discovered the wrong "clue". In short, I'm clueless.

Still very little to go on apart from thinking that miked and grrwood are more than likely good. No one stands out as being particularly suspicious yet for me, although Harrow's theory is interesting.

I suppose some posting stats are very low because of a lack of second message. There's next to fark all to discuss.

Depends what way you look at it.

If we have a seer who isn't sending messages, then I'm probably suspect no.1

  13. Otter

That would be senseless though. Not everyone posted yesterday so yesterday that would have been a possible assumption, everyone's posted today at least twice so I can't imagine that the seer hasn't posted and I agree it appears that you are good as is Grrwood.

It makes zero sense for a Seer not to post.

Edit: Just seen that Otter had already covered this!

I've voted early because I'll be off now curling. Bit of a hunch and suspicion without too much evidence to be honest but so little else to go on.

  16. Grrwood

Still unsure where to vote here. May go for fuxtix as one of the quieter ones. No other particular reason other than wolves/deers are usually quiet. But undecided as of yet

I've got to vote now or risk missing the deadline.

I'm going for Jelly, purely because he did a second message to boost his post count and was busy yesterday.. That is literally all I have to go on.

What concrete evidence do we have so far?

  19. Cassetti's Beard

Don't think i stand a chance at this rate, what I would say is that when im proven to be good at the end of the day i'd have a look at Harrow Orn.

  20. Jellyman

Isn't that just as likely to affect the behaviour of good players? I certainly wanted to post earlier, given I nearly got lynched yesterday.

I understand that there isn't much to go on, but worth pointing out flaws in arguments when I see them.

With quite a few posting rarely it makes it a bit of pot luck. I'm suspicious of about 5 players!

Not sure why Steve Harrow's randomly gone for cthutlhu?

    Well that escalated quickly!

I've nothing more to add other than I believe both messages are from Seers. Squibba for me only because he's made 3 posts and fuxtix is getting all the attention.

Seems fair enough, worth a viewing if nothing else for throwing an accusation

I think it's Squibba; wasn't he having problems voting yesterday?

Im suspicious of Jumbo, CB and Jelly.

Jumbo just hasn't been adding much, when he did quite a lot in previous games when he was good.

CB hasn't said a lot and seemed to overreact when accused- the old you can view me tomorrow seems like panic and wasn't entirely necessary.

Jelly just keeps getting away from being viewed, however perhaps he is a mason, who knows.

I'd look for the ones who actively avoid accusing and post nothing comments, especially related to their character or asking questions they can easily answer.

I might be dead tonight, depends if the wolves want to save a guaranteed kill for later or go for me now, but then risk only getting one kill. Guardian, it might be worth not actually saving the other Good tonight, bluffing and then having a good for another night.

    See ya!

    Voted via email for Jellyman.

    This shouldn't be allowed.

It's useful to know the exact order that each person votes for somebody.

You can access the full site through the tapatalk app: I think I gave instructions in last years game to Moog.

Maybe a solution for now could be that Squibba posts when he emails his vote, so that we can see the timing.

    Meh! Pre-Dictator

Sorry guys, stuck in traffic. It's a bit nasty out there.

I did receive an email from Squibba before the deadline.

I'll get him to email me and I'll vote on his behalf going forward.

I'll do the write up in a minute in here and then get some one to close it for me as I don't have the permission to do so.

  35. Meh!

    Meh! Pre-Dictator

The villagers gathered in the square for the second evening, mouths watering with anticipation. They had a really horrid first day but this time they felt for sure they’d nabbed a villain of the evil antlered kind.

Fuxtix was strewn up between the 2 columns that adorned the council building, arms strung up to the goblins on top, legs to the pillar bases.

Grrwood strutted out, tall and proud, his sharpened steel tipped chimney sweep un-blocker trailing behind grating along the cobbles setting off sparks that glimmered in the eyes of the baying elvish crowd (Otter had done some work that day and cleared at least some of the snow in the square).

Now there is a story of why Grrwood had a sharpened steel tipped chimney sweep un-blocker in the first place. ‘Twas a couple of years back that Grrwood was busily shoving his standard extendable rod up the Chimney of Mrs Ploddlewood. Up and down, up and down, he shoved hard and he thrusted true. There was a particularly tough blockage on this day though, one that just wouldn’t shift from all the heaving. 2 hours passed and, all hot and sweaty, Grrwood gave it his hardest shove yet, heard an almighty scream and was crushed by the weight of a huge furry beast.

It had darted off across the floor, through the window, and off up the path and into the woods, but from that day forward, Grrwood always insisted on carrying a sharpened steel tipped chimney sweep un-blocker in case he was attacked by any other huger furry beasts around Mrs Ploddlewood’s.

Anyway, where was I… Ahhhh, so across the square he swaggered and pranced and up to the council building where Fuxtix hung.

“What say ye, me little elvish mateyboy”, he enquired. “Does ye have owt to say bout what is ‘appenin’ ‘ere?”

Fuxtix shouted at the top of his voice "I'VE BEEN SELLING REINDEER P!SS AS BEER FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS AHAHAHAHAHAAAA"... and then fell silent. There was nothing else to say. The votes cast, the decision made. Fuxtix closed his eyes and Grrwood thrust his sharpened steel tipped chimney sweep un-blocker through Fuxtix's chest harder than he ever had at Mrs Ploddlewood’s.

The audience looked on in silence and waited….

Slowly but surely a glistening liquid started to seep out of the wound and onto the floor below. A torch was held up… the liquid……

    RED!

    Fuxtix was GOOD.

    They’d done it again!

Cries of horror poured out. Jellyman fainted. Mike stole his wallet.

Everyone went home in sadness and the village lights went out for the night.

Night people, email me your bits!
