According to that graphic, he has only played 3 games for Granada first team, hasn't he?

According to soccerway he's played 10. Only 20, so plenty of time to blossom.

Saw something yesterday that said Gino was in Spain at the moment deciding what Granada players stayed there or came to us or Udinese.

We're signing all of these Granada players because no one else wants to play for us. FML.

Pozzo still own 49% of Granada, so asset stripping is a bit of a stretch.
I think that these were players signed by Udinese for Granada and now they're being moved back under full Pozzo control.

It was mentioned some time back that Success & Agbo had agreements to move to Watford as part of the Majority Sale of Granada.

I did love the agent's comments. WTTE of: "It's Watford, so Watford should pay more money". Followed by "no one else is interested".

To paraphrase Inigo Montoya: "Negotiation. You keep on using that word. I do not think you know what that word means"

Are there any articles that reference the 49% stake?

I've only seen it mentioned on here and haven't seen it anywhere reputable but I haven't really looked either.

Only interested in this one if he has a surprising nationality based on his name, like he's a Hungarian U21 international, otherwise it's just a generic West African signing and we've had enough of those for the moment. Need more Asians.

I believe an Inuit would work well in the squad . Strictly speaking they are North Americans but genetically they are from Mongol descent having migrated from Asia across the Bering Straits shortly after the last Ice Age approximately 10,000 years ago .

He currently plays for Lekhwiya in Qatar, it seems he's on loan from Udinese but it's not entirely clear.

Why would they loan Granada's top scorer last season to a Qatari team?

I imagine it's something to do with their non EU players rules, why Lekhwiya was picked I don't know but could be money or a personal request. These articles both say he's an Udinese player but according to most sites he's at Lekhwiya now, there's even a video of him on their site.

I seem to recall someone saying that El-Arabi was promised he'd be able to leave if he stayed one more season or something to that ilk. Tried finding the post with no luck, was one of the foreign posters though!

Agbo just been sent off against Barcelona......then Barca immediately have gone on to score another goal. 3-1....and Granada down to 10.

We already have many young players from abroad not a lot of them really fulfilling their potential from right now, as a club we should aim to capture Premier league quality players with experience in the prem and getting ride of those who are hardly going to achieve anything ! We do not need a bunch of Kabasele or Mario suarez who we sell off before they even learn the language !

Also reckless and not experienced enough its a no from me !
Rather see him go for 1 or 2 million than another season on loan

I would like us to go for Alfie Mawson if Swansea get relegated. Nowhere near the finished article but good on the ball, homegrown and great potential. Would be ideal as a defensive midfielder.

Seems like an interesting prospect with a few matches under his belt, however he played for Luton :D ! I think someone like Jack Cork would be more beneficial to the team !
