Have to say although I love the bloke, Britos, Cathcart and Prodl are on a different level to Angella. Not exactly pulling up trees at QPR either.

Vydra and Fabbrini whilst reportedly playing ok in the Championship, again aren't exactly pulling up trees either. Forestieri seems to be performing best of our stars last season, although I have been impressed by Pudil when he has been on TV. None of them would get on our bench now assuming everyone was fit.

QSF and the club really didn't get any of these decisions wrong, sad as it is to say it.

Interesting to re-read some of our comments a few months back on Britos. He has been absolutely outstanding but there were a few of us shaking our heads when he arrived, let alone when QSF put him in ahead of Prodl at Stoke.

Forestieri would still make the bench for me. He's doing well in a horrible league, surrounded by worse players than what he would have been at Watford. This will of course change when Iturbe gets here.

A couple of the incoming transfers may turn out to be duds if they haven't already (no club ever gets it 100% right) but I make you right on all the outgoing players.

Forestieri is a talented player and would be a worthwhile squad player without doubt.
Angella clearly hasn't settled at QPR, but let's not get all high and mighty about how we're too good for him now. He was excellent for us.

Sorry, there is a massive doubt...FF is not a 2 way player...and when I say 2 way...look at Abdi...he's now an all round midfielder adding defensive discipline to his talents.

If FF was still here, very doubtful he'd make the bench as QSF would never trust him to maintain defensive discipline. He's a luxury player and we can't carry players during games.

I think it's been proved that he wouldn't be a worthwhile squad player as we sold him.

Whatever you think of Fernando he spent long enough here and had enough managers to impress to force his way into the team regularly, he didn't under any of them. He's doing well at Wednesday and good luck to him but we should be looking at much better/more consistent players now.
As for Angella, he was decent but our CB's are a class above him now. I wouldn't put him ahead of any Cathcart, Britos or Prodl and I doubt he'd want to be 4th choice.

Wasn't much between Angella and Ekstrand when he was fit last season either.

Strange this time last year we were concerned he'd be sold to west ham. Personally I think he'd have stayed if belk had gone
