The calibre of player we are bringing in now dictates his chances will be limited if he stays. After reading his interview my opinion slightly changed on him and i wish him all the best if he leaves. It goes to show people should always listen to both sides before making a judgement.
I changed my opinion about his reported bad attitude, I still have the same opinion on his play, .... Not as good as he thinks he is.
I've changed my view on his attitude as well, and after reading his interview, I hope he does leave. I don't feel he's good enough for us now and will be better for his career if he moves.
Got about as much chance as the other Lloyd of getting on the pitch for us. He needs to be playing regularly at his age and an ambitious team like Sheffield United would probably be ideal.
Didn't he say when he joined Brum on loan last season that as a Brummie lad, this was a lifetime's ambition realised?
im not to sure. Back then due to media comments i wouldnt have paid much attention to anything he would have said
He did say recently he wanted to stick around & give it a go in The Prem. He seems a confident enough person to believe he'll get into the side, not that I agree necessarily. Maybe the club have now made it clear has NO CHANCE & he's surplus to requirements.
Sounds like Pietersen all over again. "Come back and give it your best shot, you're really in with a chance" switches to "You have no chance. We would play Doyley as left wing ahead of you. Just go"
http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2015/07/exclusive-lloyd-dyer-told-he-can-leave-watford-fc/ Dyer been told he can leave by QSF and 3 players are "imminent".
At least one has to be homegrown. Possibly a homegrown winger? Edit: I've seen a rumour linking us with Serge Gnabry. Fits the bill...
Disappointed that Dyer is leaving. That one interview proved he lived and breathed the club and had the ability to perform at the highest of levels despite his complete lack of skill, motivation and performance shown both at Birmingham and with us. Good luck Lloyd. A true Watford FC legend.
I've really enjoyed reading WD Sport articles over the summer, but boy are they licking Dyer's arse. "Dyer will leave the Hornets with a heavy heart, as he has struck up good friendships with the likes of Troy Deeney, Ikechi Anya, kitman Will Jones and Dennon Lewis". I accept that he may have been misunderstood by fans but he's effectively had half a season here. I doubt he'll be losing sleep about no longer seeing the kitman.
I think he deserves a chance in the Prem if he's actually not a ****. His pace could be a useful asset in the last 10 mins and he actually takes players on unlike Anya.
