We are supposedly in the market for a CB, has anyone got any realistic suggestions?

Maybe we could try to get Nyron back on loan from Blackpool and maybe loan them Uche Ikpeazu?

You want us to recall Uche for the second time in 24 hours, loan him to a hell hole of a club, in order to obtain a 33 year old centre back whom we put 7 past in 45 minutes on Saturday?

long term back problems .......too much gardening ? Derby and us in for Man united Nick Powell , who didnt impress Leicester recently and was sent back early !
Mike has suggested Maguire which imo is an excellent shout , although I am expecting to see another attempt at getting Bassong to return.

He has a pretty bad back injury, but should be back in a few weeks.

I really never know when VOR is on a wind up and when he is 2 steps behind the world - i will assume the best and that he was pulling our leg - if not i hear that Brian Garvey is not doing much at the moment?

If we wanted to add to the list of nationalities we have in the team, Diego Lugano is available on a free transfer. Joseph Yobo is also available on a free and could be good company for Ighalo.

If VOR does trolling, he is perhaps the best troll in the world.

Anyone who has played Werewolf on the forum could testify that.

We also now have Savic who I think may prove a decent acquisition.

Unless Nosworthy has seriously declined since he left us, I would have him back. Unfair to judge him in the Blackpool team

He was last good for us in about 2012, three years ago. He's 33. He's at Blackpool for a reason.

Yeah but you thought that Deeney had a poor season last year, and that Doyley is king. so your opinion doesnt count

OK all joking aside, we must get in at least one out and out CB and preferably I would like one or even two out and out FB's, by that I mean not wing backs, but genuine defenders.

What we have now are basically wingers who attempt to defend, what we need are full backs who attempt to get forward when they can.

very true, both of our goals conceded were partly from poor defending by the wingbacks.

I've been on Joel's case all season but to be fair he looked very hungry on Saturday. He was aggressive and he said some very promising things in his interview after the game considering the rumours about him being a disruptive influence.

I don't think the general quality of our centre backs is in question. For me we are lacking a leader and talker in that central defence or midfield role. An organiser if you like.

Communication seems to be a big problem and a lack of it has cost us many points.... The good news is that it has room to improve and little by little it will.

I think we are a bit harsh on ourselves, considering we play offensive 352 / 433 football defensively we aren't that bad

GOALS AGAINST lifted from the table on the beeb

    Middlesbrough 20
    Derby 28
    Sheff Wed 28
    Ipswich 31
    Bournmouth 32
    Norwich 36
    Watford 37
    Rotherham 38
    Brighton 39
    Wolves 40
    Blackburn 40
    Leeds 40
    Birmingham 41
    Charlton 41
    Brentford 42
    Wigan 42
    Cardiff 43
    Reading 45
    Nottm Forest 46
    Bolton 48
    Millwall 48
    Huddersfield 53
    Fulham 55
    Blackpool 60

Deduct the 5 goals from the Narj and Muff games where outrageous early ref decisions all but guaranteed a loss and I think we're doing okay
