From what people have been saying, particularly the Watford Legends guy on here last week, that Tim Sherwood is an utter c***.

I don't get how people are rating Tim Sherwood. The guy is a clueless idiot who complained and whinges all the time.

It's going to be someone foreign, probably someone we've never heard of and no doubt extremely underwhelming.

I'd like to see Eddie Howe given a chance if OG goes. His team plays football the same way, English & worked in the championship with 2 clubs. Thing is I don't think he would come cheap and would we ever pay to get a manager in?

    RDM please.

As an alternative, I would also take Nigel Gibbs. He is a respected coach and has attended nearly all of our games this season. He will have seen how the players perform, what needs improving, what formation(s) work and is also passionate about the club. Its a gamble, I realise, but I'd rather someone how knows the club than some of the names we have been linked with.

Have not seen any of the rumours regarding Oscar but I honestly can't see him being in charge for much longer, to be in hospital this long with chest pains must be really worrying for him & his family and perhaps he needs to make an important decision based on this.
As for new boss would be devastated if any of Coyle, Hughton, Sherwood & Lennon were appointed. McDermott & Gibbs wouldn't be a bad shout.

As I said in the other thread: Guidolin to take charge on a caretaker basis until Garcia is back and fit.

Agree with this, if Zola can come back and fix all the mistakes he made last time, whilst keeping all the good stuff the same I think he'd do a good job

I've been away 24 hours..am I missing something here? Why all the talk of a new Head Coach? Surely Garcia's just been appointed and will be back at work when fit and ready to do so, hopefully soon?

I'll think you'll find in the forum's T&C there's something concerning compulsory Danny Kaye routine quoting.

    Flagon with the dragon...

[Anecdote] I was at a recording of "The Now Show" when they did a gag based upon this routine. In fact, it took them 5 attempts to get the thing right and then it was cut from the broadcast. [/Anecdote].

Wasn't Tim Sherwood convicted of Fly Tipping, when he dumped an old kitchen somewhere in Norfolk while he was at Norwich?

I thought you said "The One Show" and I was wondering why on earth you'd attend a recording of it. But then I realised you said the Now Show and the questions still stands.

Two people with known links to inside information from the club have now said he'll be gone by the end of the week.

Because once in a while the "Now Show" produce a gag that is: a) very topical; b) exceptionally satirical or clever and c) very funny. They didn't that night. Highlight of the evening was Marcus "I'm so funny" Brigstocke musing with the crowd whether his use of the word "pikey" in one of his "gags" (in the very loosest sense of the word) was racist; or the unused *amusing* "Vessel with the pestle..." schtick that didn't make it to broadcast. The "Drill Hall" is a nice venue surrounded by lots of decent places to eat and drink and tickets were free. And presenting my date with tickets for this, got me laid.
