Saninino actually resigned ... officially that is but we all know he was just minding ship - it's the Pozzo way perhaps!

And what a drama queen you really are, do you still pine for Ray Lewington?

Not at all. I couldn't stand Ray Lewington, he was a perennial good loser.

Your accepting of Beppes departure as being the 'Pozzo way' shows you up to be a supplicating sycophant of the highest order.

A simple question to you, what will your feelings be if the new manager comes in and goes 3 games without a win?

That depends on oh! so many factors ... but tactical blunders certainly won't help anyone's cause.
And three games is nothing, Zola took until November to get us firing properly though admittedly he was starting from scratch. As with Zola, if it's Garcia then his pedigree will mean he'll get the leeway he needs.

You are an old drama queen.

We know few facts away from there was a reported incident with LM, he refused to take the team talk at Rotherham and he had lost all respect from a number of squad players. In light of this, he was never going to retain his role.

Why your mantra on this is all down to the Pozzo way - why is it just not Sanninos way that didn't work

I actually think this will turn out to be a smooth transistion. The squad and good enough and fit enough to not let it affect the season.

So in Meldrew's world the Pozzo's are not ambitious enough because they don't "spend a single penny on transfer fees" (despite assembling one of the most impressive squads the club as ever had at this level), but also too ruthless with the head coach because "nothing but promotion is what appears to be demanded this season".

Is it just a thing where whatever is happening you have to demand the opposite Meldrew?

Reminds me of the sort of attitude you had a couple of seasons ago when you without fail came on here after every single defeat demanding that Dyche (or ''Dychebag'' as you called him) was sacked.

The Watford way is as irrelevant as betamax video.

It was a strategy that allowed a small club that didn't have 2 pennies to rub together to compete far beyond it's means. We are now part of an extremely successful global football empire that has all of the resources and players it needs at it's finger tips to operate multiple top sides in multiple top divisions.

I can only assume this deal was going on behind the scenes long before Sunday. A manager doesn't arrive on a Tuesday to replace one from two days previous.

Well yes, YK thought that Beppe wouldn't have got to the Leeds game, but I'm sure a decision was made but he was asked to oversee the matches until the international break.

He only arrived today because the Pozzo's bought it forward. He was due to arrive on Thursday, but luckily Gino noticed that nothing ever happens on Thursdays as that's the Watford way, so he changed it.

If Garcia resigns, which looks increasingly likely, Di Matteo (unlikely) or Eddie Howe (more likely)

    Di Matteo? Really?

I'd wager it might be someone we've never heard of in our country, but well known in Italy and/or Spain, though with how Beppe riled the Pozzo's with his methods might deter them from that.

Regardless, the manager will need to want to play tippy tappy football rather than Pulis-esque football.

I think with the imminent departure of Solksjaer (as well as Oscar) no bookies are taking bets on it.

IF it comes to this, Gino will have to make a decision with the same criteria in mind as when Sannino left. English speaking and experienced in the league. He'll almost have to make a decision as if Garcia never existed.

I'd like Howe, but I can honestly see Zola coming back, unfortunately. I also think we need to forget about di Matteo now guys. Sorry.

Is Malky still collecting a severance wage from Cardiff. If so we can rule him out

Zola, Id have back in a flash , as long as acknowledges to himself that he made some huge oversights in terms of defence and fitness, and is ready to address those.

Guidolin, would love him as well, but seems unlikely.

Di Matteo, woudl love him also, but seems even more unlikely

Steve Clarke, for me the pick of the bunch, but it seems hes dissapeared from the face of the earth since WBA as he never seems to be touted for jobs despite being a very well respected coach

Owen Coyle, has had some decent success but probably past his best

Chris Hughton, in two minds about him. Does have experience of promotion but I wonder about the quality of his football

Who else is there ? All the good managers are going to be in jobs by now.

Its ten to two and the dancefloor is only full with old boilers. We ve splashed out on a very expensive suit and a flashy car, it seems a dreadful waste to be going home with Owen Coyle

And I'm sure MM is not being paid and will come cheap given his slim chances of getting back into football. I saw him sat outside Euston station on Friday with a book and wearing a big pair of shades, clearly doing very little with his time!

Sherwood did a decent job at Tottenham but would probably be even more aggressive than Sannino. Think he would get us promoted though.

Lennon. Same as above but 50/50 on the promotion chances. Not sure if he would join us but probably.

Tony Pulis. Not great football, but would get us promoted. Don't think we would join us though.
