Of all the teams in the championship I would have asked it to happen to, Blackpool would have been in my bottom 10.

I agree. I can't pretend I can say anything nice about Blackpool - no happy memories ever on the road there. Still, it illustrates all too well the shylocks attracted to owning football clubs. We got very, very lucky.

Blackpools assistant manager left the other day because he was never offered a contract to sign. He gave them a deadline to september to start being paid and wasn't.

This Leeds Birmingham game is genuinely one of the worst games i've ever seen.

Both look like teams who'll finish below 18th

Forest fans embarrasing themselves, they've sang more about QPR than their own team.

Derby's defending was terrible for that goal.

Forest being exposed now too. Blackburn are dark horses.

I wanna say that teams like Bournemouth and Wolves will fall away, but after last year with Burnley doing what they did, I'd be stupid to think like that. This league is the closest in a good few years, certainly closer than 12/13 with us, Derby, Boro, Wolves, Bournemouth, Blackburn and Norwich all looking good enough to win the league. Granted Norwich have stalled a little bit but they could easily get back on track.

Even though it's expected that at least one of the clubs I've mentioned will fall away by April, it'd be better to expect teams like Bournemouth and Wolves to stay near the top come the end of the season so it can keep everyone at the club on their toes.

Derby, Middlesbrough have the quality to be up there at the end of the season.

Norwich and Wigan as well although they are underperforming. If Fulham can string some results they can make a late surge. Wolverhampton under King Kenny are also dark horses with a resolute defence.

Can't see Charlton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest stay the pace. The former with small squads and the way Forest play.

Norwich have lost that Hoolee-whatsisname for quite a while now haven't they? They're a strong team and I still fancy them to go up auto.

Derby - flattering to deceive. We know Eustace and Forsyth and we know that, bless 'em, they're not table-topping players. Neither would make the bench for us today. Comfortable play offs for them though. Might get lucky.

Wolveryerampton - We should have had Sir Kenneth as our manager years ago, Missed opportunity. Will be dangerous, but can't see them doing back to back promotions. Play offs.

Forest - Pearce sacked before the new year. Mid table.

Cardiff - thought they'd do better. Looking mid table at best.

    Reading - ditto

Think that's a little harsh on Derby, I'd say they play better and have a better squad than a fair few teams who've gone up recently.

    Tom Ince going to Forest.

Any idea how long for? Hopefully only till January.

Fulham were 2-0 up, now 3-2 down at home to Derby in the league cup. Here's hoping they can grab a equaliser and force an extra 30 mins.

Edit: Maybe not, 5-2 up after 65 mins.

Disagree. Think they're the strongest side in the League. Hope you're right & I'm wrong.

Erm...we did, just before (and at the beginning of) GT's second coming. He was the draw specialist during our first season back in what is now League One. GT took over the next season and the rest is history....

Eddie Howe to QPR, Villa or some other desperate Prem team before the end of the season.

    Bournemouth slump to mid table.

He jumped to Burnley from there a few years back, but wasn't right for him, let alone a crisis club like QPR.

The emergency loan system allows for a maximum of 91 days, as we are in that window that's the most they can have him for.

To be honest, Tom Ince seems like a bit of a **** like his dad. Poor attitude to boot. He's not nearly as good as people think.

I think I'd rather we played against him than Antonio, Burke or Jamie Paterson, who I think has far more potential.

That said, Paterson has been frozen out by Pearce and is a friend of Deeney. Maybe we should take him off their hands?

Signed until 28th December. Honestly dont see the point in the signing a player for 2 months.
Why would they sign a player in the position they looked ok in.
If I was them I would be looking for the receipt for Britt.
Hopefully Britt will kick on when there in a relegation scrap with Huddlesfield in April

As I stated, 91 days is the maximum allowed during the emergency loan window. It makes sense that Hull only allowed 2 months as it then gives them the whole of the transfer window to sell him or loan him elsewhere. Also after the 28th December Forest won't have a league match until 10th January, so it allows Hull to use him on the 3rd Jan in the FA Cup should they choose to do so.

Eustace was the calm midfield general we've been missing since he left. We may not have been able to get into a Tozser-Abdi-Munari midfield, but take any one of those out and I would have him in the team.

Forsyth was a fairly ineffective winger for us, who played once (and well) at full back. Left back is a position where we don't have experienced cover and where Pudil would struggle in the Prem. I don't know if Forsyth is a better full-back than Pudil, but he's certainly no worse.

Sounds like there's about 5 people in the crowd from TV.
