Hopefully he's better than what we've got, but we'll have to wait and see. Meanwhile, we'll have to cull a few.

I fear the results of rotating our superabundance of central defenders, none of whom is the big noisy guy who will dominate the middle while the others go wandering physically or mentally.

I appreciate what Italian journalists are saying but excuse me if I'm keeping my feet on the ground firmly for this one, I'm still waiting for Steve Beleck to be the next Jesus.

I think he started 2 and came on as sub 9 times playing 250 mins in total. http://www.worldfootball.net/team_performance/parma-fc/ita-serie-a-2013-2014/

But a back up bench player for Parma who came 6th last season could and should be plenty good enough for The Championship. Am excited to see him.

It seems the management are full aware of our reliance on Abdi and seem to covering every eventuality for this season.

I hope Sannino can perform under pressure because expectations are really going to mount if we have a good start. And mount even more if we have a bad start!

Parma didn't even let Tozser play for them before they sent him to us!

Agreed, that's akin to signing an Everton sub.

Good signing as Abdi's plantar facilities may return at any time.

McGugan ended up being an impact player from the bench at Forest. Can see the same happening here if this guy is as good as he's being made out.

I don't care how good this guy is, NO ONE is 'a little bit better than Abdi'. Maybe he was 5 years ago, but not now, never.

Apparently he can play inside left or right, too. I still think it means we need to loan out 2/3 players.

Watford taking Gianni Munari on loan from Parma. If he gets the game-time he will return to his best. Could be a coup! #WFC #WAFC

Having read more this has Abdi/ Cassetti written all over it. I'm in. Just hope we do trim the squad a touch. Fabbrini, Murray/ Battocchio out on loan with recall clauses & one ST.

We have had the youtube video.....

We have had the Twitter comments....

We have had the images that make us all jealous...

Now for the football manager stats!

    Positives

    Good Passing
    Good Long Shots
    Very Composed
    Strong

    Negative

    Slow

I did a search for players like him and got:

    Tom Huddlestone
    Darren Gibson
    Darren Fletcher
    Flamini

So, very composed, creative, keeps possession, hard working :)

By the way, whilst I doubt this guy is better than Abdi, as no one is, it's promising that he seems to be highly thought of.

Looking at those stats am I right in thinking that Munari plays a deeper midfield role?

Think Michael Carrick - Let Abdi do the advanced playmaking and Munari to keep hold of the ball.

Whoever said he's better than Abdi can do one as far as I'm concerned.

So nobody italian that we've never heard of better than a legend.

    NO FROM ME.

Box to box isn't he? I'd have Tozser down as the Michael Carrick type player.

I'm going just of football manager and from that he is slow, composed, methodical, calm etc so would say a possession type deeper player.

As long as he doesn't do that predictable chip without looking over the top to nobody...

Hopefully more like the 'unpredictable chip over the top to an onrushing Matej Vydra', a la Marco Cassetti.

We can Sign as many midfielders as we like. Selling Deeney will mean no promotion this season. It's not just his goals it's his overall contribution to the team.

I just can't see the point in this signing.
