Don't understand why people are giving FRB a hard time.

It's relevant info considering the forum this is in and the thread title.

Leicester have a couple of crap strikers that Cardiff can have if they fancy any more.

I guess FRB stopped posting because Cardiff were in the prem but now are in direct competition with us, not only in the league but maybe also possible transfer targets?

Personally I do not read threads that do not interest me, but I do think that people such as Filbert and FRB add to what these forums offer.

The only time anyone has wanted my opinion has been to know how much the playoff loss crushed Leicester or if Lloyd Dyer is any good haha.

I think you may have missed the post asking about the amount of empty crisp packets any one stadium can hold ;)

The Championship is a far more entertaining and fun league, I intend to experience vicariously for a year through Watford until Leicester are back in it.

But what about games such as
Monster Monday: Newcastle vs West Brom - The Clash for 11th Place.
Tremendous Tuesday: Stoke Vs Crystal Palace - Return of the Pulis.
Sublime Sunday: Chelsea Take On Manchester City To See Who is Better at Football.

And don't miss West Ham take on Aston Villa in a competition to see who can actually kick a football into orbit!!!!

The Premier League is alright, but there's a lot of ****. The best I can hope for is that Leicester play freely and entertain us fans regardless of whether they stay up or come back down. I don't want to be in the state of existential crisis most fans find themselves in after three or four years in the Prem, where the top third of the table is impenetrable and relegation means financial ruin.

Our experience of the premiership has been woeful. Regular defeats, interspersed with rare "shock" wins and brave draws, was painful. To be fair, Hull and CP have shown that it is possible to survive. If you enjoy next season as much as the season just ended, 2014/15 will be a magnificent year for Leicester.

There's only so many seasons you can put up with surviving though. The top 8 or so is almost impossible to break in to so you're either left with trying to stay up (and as Filbert says, ruined if you don't) or you celebrate mid table mediocrity. Quite dull after a while when it becomes apparent the club will never achieve anything of note.

The chase is always better than the kill, winning the Championship was great fun but I doubt watching us in the Prem will really be an inspirational sight. While the club benefit massively from the income, we fans will still be paying higher prices to watch less competitive football and *****ing about £200 to travel up to Manchester to watch us play and have a beer. I'm really not that inspired by the thought of competing in the league.

When we were last up there for a sustained period with Martin O'Neill we had cult heroes, successive top half finishes, cup wins and European football. The landscape has changed beyond recognition in just 15 years. A fan favourite will bugger off after playing well for 6 months, you can barely take a cup competition seriously for fear of finishing a place lower in the league and losing millions and god forbid that you should qualify for the Europa League.

Basically next year is going to be **** regardless, unless the unthinkable happens and we win a cup. Before long I'll be pining for The Championship; the frumpy but fun girl you left for her attractive, but ultimately ugly friend.

Excuse me rambling, I didn't sleep at all last night.

Surprised a little by Filbert's view of competing in the Premier league, but also understand it. When we played in the play-offs last year, in the ideal world, wanted us to have the experience of winning at Wembley but staying in the Championship. That said I think Leicester have a decent chance of staying up.

McDermott gone from Leeds, really hope they **** up this season, which starts a slide that ends up with them in the conference or going bust.

Mutch rumoured to Sunderland for 1.5m. Surely that's a steal? Host of clubs after Caulker too
Also Southampton rumoured to be after Ulloa
WBA apparently rejected bid from Derby for Thorne

    All good news if true

Mutch not going for 1.5m. Complete bull. We are asking for 8m+.

    Andrew Taylor goes to Wigan.

    Worrying if true.

If he goes for 8m then Deeney is worth 12m.

I'm sorry but no way is he worth more than Mutch. He has proven himself in the Prem. Deeney hasn't. Also if you factor in that he is young & English it's about right.

Cardiff bid 3m for 21 year old Polish winger Michal Zyro. Rated at 6m.

Strikers always sell for more than midfielders though.

Not when the midfielder is a fair bit younger and is proven in the division with goals, assists and all round great performances, that the striker has never played in

Not reaching his peak though is he whereas troy is peaking within the next year. Troy is still young and English with bags of goals assists and all round great performances and consistency.
