The operation was followed by the player's agent Vincenzo Morabito." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Cassetti
According to Udinese's post here http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread...nse-thread-(2)&p=726882&viewfull=1#post726882 Tuttosport are 99% BS
i've just posted the same rumor on another 3d. Please take note that Tuttosport is rubbish (Rubentus pravda to be precise!)
I think at 35 Marc Cassetti is a bit old though. Younger replacements we should consider include Luigi Compactdiski, or even Umberto Empeefrei
Beata Maxz must be ancient now. I have heard that we are also in for an even older player Ciney Philms is looking for a transfer, after the one to DVD fell through.
There may be a shock swoop for Vinyl Messi on the horizon. Or so I read on some dodgy German rumour site.
You may be right about Maxz. Maybe someone who's still experienced, but a bit younger, like Leigh Zedisck.
If we are looking for experience we should put a bid in for Franco-Irish wingback Daguerre O'Type. I'll get me coat.
Hmmmm, honestly not impressed with this one if true. 35 year old Italian to come in and push out Hodson who has the potential to be a great right back at this level.
**** poor signing in an area that is well covered. If I was Zola I'd be concentrating on the final 3rd of the pitch.
Interesting that the Pozzos policy is buy them young and promising..yet, if this one is true, our first 3 permanent signings under them will all have been in their thirties! Mind you, seeing as the first goal of the Zola era was scored by a 30 something striker......
Maybe by signing Cassetti, the club are thinking in the frame of mind of that Cassetti will be a good squad player and help Hodson develop into a better player than he already is? Just a thought. I'll judge him when I see him play anyways.
Of course there is always that side of things. It can go one way or the other, either his arrival and inclusion in the team serves to halt Hodson's development or his experience and quality aids Hodson's development. I just think it's time Hodson was given the opportunity to cement his place as our first choice right back.
