Whilst I would love them to give Sean a chance, if diepensing with his services is the price for getting rid of this imbecil purporting to own our club then it is a price we have to pay. Sean will find no trouble getting another job.

I will hold my hands up to a genuine spelling clanger.

It's really unfair that the only two other people on here who would know that both highlighted it though.

If the deal goes through and please let it be soon much as Sean did exceptionally well last year with Zola the brand of football maybe better and we may well get players who are more used to a passing style. I would be very sad for Sean but he will have no trouble finding a job and we need these new owners a lot more than we need Sean I'm afraid

    From the BBC gossip column:

'Gianfranco Zola is set for talks about becoming manager of Watford after the Pozzo family completed their £20m takeover of the Championship club.'

    £20m takeover? ::)

If you turned back the clock , would you be happy if Zola replaced MM instead of Dyche ?

Trouble is some fans will believe that and come August will demand to know why 20 million hasn't been spent.

They can't sack Dyche now, he's the July poster boy on the official calendar.

    I took this advice.

And according to that, AVB will be Watford bound if he doesn't get the Spurs job.

    http://www.football-italia.net/20649/zola-set-sign-watford

"Gianfranco Zola is expected to become the new Watford Coach on Tuesday after Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo bought the club.

The Pozzo family completed its takeover this week and appointed ex-Brescia and West Ham director Gianluca Nani as technical director.

That Hammers partnership could be reunited, as former West Ham manager Zola is tipped to become the new tactician.

Italian media report that Zola will put pen to paper on Tuesday for a four-year contract with Watford.

Zola was the West Ham manager from 2008 to 2010."

Very harsh on Dyche, I think we would all love him to stay

However, if the new owners are going to pump millions into the club then we have to meet them halfway. Remember these are the guys who have worked wonders at Udinese and Granada, they obviously know what theyre doing and appointing Zola could be a good decision in the long run.

Dyche has been amazing and done a fantastic job with limited resources. I would love to see him given the chance to stay but at the same time if you were a decent player, the chances are you are more likely to sign for Zola than Dyche. Agreed that we have to give a little with our new owners and if that means Dyche, than thanks for the memories of the last season and I am sure he will pick up a good job elsewhere in the Championship.

If he does go, then thank you Sean and good luck.

He steered us through a tough time and will be remembered for that. But make no bones about it, it's not terrible news for him, as he said a few weeks ago, he's got other clubs sniffing around him.

I just do not understand this decision if it was going to happen. We supporters go mad when managers jump ship, but in all honesty when this sort of thing happens, you can see why,as loyalty is a 2 way thing. Now we have an up and coming manager,we are possibly going to do the sinful thing of getting rid,or demoting.I think he will go as Zola or whoever would want there own staff.
Ok I am pleased that the take over is all done and dusted but to p!ss the fans off straight away is not healthy.Zola at west-ham didn't do a great deal but install smiley football.I am dead against this possible decision.

P*ss the fans off? They've just saved us from going under for god sake. Anyone who is pissed off with them just because they want their own choice of manager in charge of the club is a f**king moron.

**** off some of the fans, not all. There is a bigger picture that some see.

The Pozzo's just pulled our club back from the brink. If in return, they want their own manager and structure in place then so be it.

A good example, again, is the Newcastle situation, their fans went nuts about Pardew replacing Hughton. I don't think they were moaning so much at nearly attaining Champions League football last season.

No need for the outburst of anyone that disgree's is a F moron is there, maybe we should think the same the other way round. It is not about saving the club, but put it into perspective that Both MM and BR brought in £2mill to the club by walking and they are this and that. But we get rid of a potential manager that could take us places, knows the club inside out and would command a good compo fee if wanted elsewhere or decided to go.I do not want Zola and his happy smiley football, the same as I didn't want Vialli either here,It didn't work then, and I don't see it working again.I think people are getting to excited thinking that we are gonna throw millions at players, which I do not think will happen as they try and run the other 2 clubs for maximum profits. All I was saying that I don't welcome the decision to oust Dyche without some thought going in to it.Too many rash decisions are made and as we have seen in the past it has rarely worked!

I think that the guys that own a Champions League club and a La Liga club know what they are doing and are putting thought into it.

The only thing about the Vialli situation which relates to now is that our prospective next manager is Italian. Nothing else is the same. At all.

You don't want Zola and his 'smiley football', what the **** is 'smiley football'? You mean, a team that passes the ball, what?

Oh and 'it's not about saving the club' is it?

How convenient. Perhaps administration would have been acceptable to you if Dyche was in charge?
