Another 1-0 win for us at the weekend, at the baseball field. We're looking solid, if a little unspectacular. But when you start with 7 away games on the bounce, it's probably for the best. High hopes for a decent season.

It could be a long season for the Union :dismay:

The Union look to be a mid to lower table team this year. A good goal for them would be making playoffs. Getting a win in playoffs would be huge. SOB's deserve better.

The 'caps top of the league having kept clean sheets in their first 2 games? Wow!

I am going to stay optimistic, and hope that this is just the new system working out the kinks.

Enjoy it! The road gets much harder for the Caps from here on out. As much as parity rules MLS, an expansion team and Chivas, arguably the worst franchise in any sport in American sports history, don't necessarily represent the rest of the league. That said, the 'Caps seem to be much better rounded than last year, despite the ridiculous level of forward loading they did in the offseason. Notably, a defender scored their game winner against Chivas. Also, Joe Cannon, injured again..? He got bumped early on and went out before halftime. He must be frustrated with himself, but his inability to stay healthy is getting ridiculous.

Would Chivas do better moving away from Home Depot? I read something (can't remember where) about them doing better in a more "Mexican" neighborhood. No idea about the demographics around HD or how in touch with reality the article is.

I'd just like to say that I dislike Seattle. Horrible bunch of divers and fans with their heads up their own arses.

Dominated the first 30 odd minutes of the game last night before Seattle scored from a hideous deflection and one of the softest penalties I've ever seen.

We had plenty of chances to get something from the game, but lack a killer instinct. This team is set up very much the same as last year - which is a good thing. We're solid, but unspectacular and don't look like getting many goals unless they come from set pieces. I'd like to see a little bit more creativity and pace in the side up top.

Note location of sideline mic...He pretty much looked into America's red white and blue eyes and said it.

Pitor Nowak.. just seem to have a general dislike of Le Toux.. It's a bold move to blow off the teams ex best player and former fan favorite when you are 0-3

Nowak is kind of hardheaded. Not at all surprised.

Hahahahahahaha. Good. I hate that bald headed little ****. A stain on this league to have him playing here.

Well Houston has been handed another suspension, this time in the form of a 1 game retrospective ban for Adam Moffat, for a tackle he made in Seattle. Hopefully the league will have the sense to punish Seattle for some horrendous diving.,

Something is seriously wrong with the MLS this season. The 'caps fail to score again but also keep a clean sheet again. Joe Cannon gets save of the week every week as well it seems. What happened to the most exciting team in MLS??? 4 games unbeaten for us now, but can't seem to score despite having 23 strikers on the books. Weird!

Watched the first 25 mins in LA. Saw it was game over. Strange stuff in Galaxy land.

This doesn't explain what happened last night, but it sheds some light on it...
    Becks bust up with teammates
This apparently goes back to last year...the CONCACAF Champs League game against Sarvas' old team.

Shirtless David Beckham doesn't want Marcelo Sarvas soccer jersey

Don't worry, Henry is in my fantasy team now, so he'll stop scoring with any frequency.

Edging closer to opening day in Houston, looking forward to it.

You said that Gonzalez would be a big loss, but I didn't think it'd be this big. Still, plenty of time left in the season to change things around. The beauty of MLS is that you can scrape into the
    Play-offs and win it all.

Exactly...my buddy Jimmy who grew up next to the Rose Bowl and has seen 95% of every home game the Galaxy ever played, always points out to me when fretting along these lines early in the season that all the G's need to do is make playoffs. In 2005, the team slinked in on the last spot, and won it all...

I like it. Feels as though it really was built for the Dynamo. I'm interested to see what kind of atmosphere it generates and whether the new stadium will lead to increased levels of support and exposure in the local media.

Beckham benched for the game today against KC... Let's see if that shakes the team up a little. Donovan starting. Here we go, here we go, here we go...

EDIT: Welcome to "bottom of the league"! Population: LA Galaxy

    Stupid Portland let Chivas win...

Ben, it's like our teams are trying to be the worst in the league. Nowak ejecting Le Toux and the G's doing whatever it is they're doing... Crazy stuff.

Excellent! Let's see if the Galaxy have their **** together today or not. Traded a young small midfielder without much of a future in MLS to Chivas for a defender that has size...he's a Brazilian. Never thrilled with the idea of Brazilian defenders. Now the G's have two on the roster.

    Go Galaxies!

Nice. Tidy 1-1 in Chicago, with the game stopped on 66 minutes due to bad weather. 1 defeat from the road-trip so far, I'm happy with that.
