I've had a bit of an update. Apparently it all relates to the Keith Andrews situation, the real reason Andrews is now on gardening leave is that Tommy is coming back and the two don't see eye to eye.

 

Just been seen in Watford high street.

 

I have also heard Watford has a High Street. Though I have also heard that 'It is not what it was' which to me suggests it has changed.

but this then ballooned massively over the summer when the Pozzos took over. It even made the local paper, and I think even one national rag mentioned that we were interested in him. All of it kicked off as me and a mate were in the bar at half time at the vic and saying who we would like back at the vic again, and smithys name came up. we joked about starting a rumour, and we did. but that summer it looked as though he really might come back and my mate and i patted ourselves on the back. however it then all fell to bits and we brought in some swiss maestro called abdi instead and the whole think unravelled. the watford we knew and loved were gone and replaced with a load of foreign udinese rejects who don't care one jot about our club............

Tommy (and Jack) took out a full page in the WO to congratulate us on promotion. Surest sign yet that Tommy (or Jack) are going to be re-signing.
