You probably know that the club is holding a series of these supporters question and answers evenings - already held at Hemel, Garston and one planned for Kings Langley. Well what about one specifically, but not exclusively, for members of this forum? Good idea or bad idea? If we could present the club with a list of interested members and get to say 50+ then we may have a chance. If you're interested add your name below. If we reach a good number I will contact Malky or ask Admin to contact the club. I Am Interested Berkohorn Berkohornjunior
We get a fair representation of views on here so i think it would be a good idea you never know they may do it as a shout box forum evening
Not sure about this as forum people are spread far and wide as VoR says above. The shoutbox idea is a good one but the text input is very limited, so long answers would be out of the question.
Dependant on time and place but otherwise.... I Am Interested Berkohorn Berkohornjunior VoR Prentice kingjames77
We have 621 active users, a lost of which hardly post. I don't think that is particularly representative of our support.
IMO the only problem with this Berko is that people will say they are interested put their name down and too many will make an excuse for not going - it happens when organising the forum **** ups - that would waste a lot of time and effort of the forum admin and of course the club..... for that reason - i am out! the other thing is that they hold the forums in various areas anyway to give the opprotunty to attend. for that reason i am out twice...
What Paddy said In PRINCIPLE it is a good idea for the simple reason we are supporters and have valid views and opinions (except Moog obviously :biggrin but PRACTICALLY the club are doing enough to arrange these events by spreading them around our core support areas, and tbh they are probably one of the best community minded clubs who do this :sign15: Obvioulsy if we (ie wfc forums) were to arrange a Fans Forum in Sarf London or Kent I would definitely attend but for the reasons Paddy said - I'm out.
I doubt the club would want to venture much outside of the Watford area. I still say go for an on line forum, if not by shout box then maybe by Thread which can be answered using the quote button
How about one to as many people want to turn up from the forum (consider inviting gloryhorns members etc?) and then just have someone that's extraordinarily quick at typing (i.e. me) putting it all online live.
Well, you can still read back to what was mentioned before, it'd be like BBC's videprinter on match days.
Well, what I write doesn't have to be in the shoutbox, I could type it up as replies in a thread? It's all hypothetical anyway, not sure said situation would actually happen. :dismay:
Can it be at KidZone? Harry the hornet is having his birthday party there and me and Smithy are invited
