Watford FC became my favorite team after Alexander Cauna enjoyed it. Cauna is really skillful player and he is only 21 years old. Now in my country a lot of people show huge interest about WFC.
Welcome mate. Good to see that we're getting some fans out there. How highly rated is he in Latvia and how much do you reckon he would cost for us to buy him?
In past year, when he started to play for national team, his popularity increased immediately. People can see that he is better than others.. I don't have any doubts about transfer amount.. Can just add that good players in latvian championship receive about 2.500$ monthly. So it would be great for Cauna to stay in Watford. For sure price for him will increase in next years..
Pludins, welcome to the boards and more importantly, to the helter-skelter world of Watford FC. Does anyone know if we have a fee already agreed for Cauna, should we take the option to sign him permanently? That's how these things are often arranged.
Welcome Pludins - A fine country is Latvia was very impressed with Riga. The crumpet is pretty shyte hot aswell. I doubt Watford will buy Aleks because we have the two most stupid people in charge at watford now. The Russo brothers are millionaire's, yes very very rich, richer than our last chairman. But they won't fund the club to buy players becasue they want to build a veru nice stand for people to sit in ( stand, sit - English is a funny language). You must tell all the Latvian Watford fans to wear T-shirts with the slogan " Russos out now" and take one huge photo and send it to the Watford Observer, our local newspaper.. Your T-shirt counts. If the world wide Watford fan base can get the Russos out of the club, we may have a chance of buying players like Aleks and keeping Tamas Priskin, Noddy and Ross Jenkins junior. Do you get to see watford on tv in Latvia? Or do only premiership matches get shown. Don't forget.... RUSSOS OUT! NOW.
Welcome, it is nice that we have fans in your country and I think that Cauna will stay at Watford despite what others have said. I will be very happy if he does stay!!!
Welcome Pludins. The way Cauna hit that freekick over from the right in the first half was probably the best strike of a dead ball I've seen at the Vic in some time, (from a Watford player), unbelievable speed and trajectory. I get the feeling he will soon be taking every corner and free kick. I like what I saw.
Hello Pludins. Cauna definitely made a good impression on Tuesday night. He was very active, seemed to be good technically and whipped in a couple of good crosses. I was a bit worried when he was chasing back that he looked like he might put in a reckless tackle, but fortunately he didn't. I look forward to seeing him play some more.
Welcome Pludins! Great to hear people are taking an interest in Watford over in Latvia... If you have any questions about Watford FC feel free to ask and one of the many approachable users on this board will be happy to answer
Sounds good. We've not had a decent dead ball taker since Johnson. Decent balls whipped in from corners and freekicks can be good for an extra handful of goal per season.
Speaking about decent delivery from set-pieces, Muff seemed to have a new sideline in exocet-style corners on Tuesday night. One of which resulted in the second goal.
He's had patches of decent delivery in the past, but not consistently enough. It's the same with his overall game. He looks a lot happier under Brendan though and his whole game is improving. Still, :sign8:
welcome pludins welcome to the boards and watford fc cauna looks a quality player and its nice because weve not had an out and out left winger since mcnamee left
Welcome aboard Pludins. Do you follow Skonto for instance ? Saw him in a UEFA game for them and Euro u20 looked the business. Do you follow the hockey as well ie Dinamo Riga ? Lietuva should stay in the top pool and it will be nice to see players like Karsums available. I'll behind the Russians personally. Nice to have this growing band of supports in the Baltic states and Scandinavia. We may end up rivalling Crystal Palace in these stakes. :naughty:
Ooopa. Whilst I would like to be behind a certain few Russian women ie Diana Vishneva :love2:that was a spelling mistake. Interpolate be as in support of the Red Machine. You still celebrating the win over Schweden Pludins ?
I'm looking for job in UK. And I'm not running for money, just wish to live in UK some time to improve language skills and also research english culture. I would be very glad if someone could offer such opportunity...
If you are not able to help me directly, maybe you just can give some suggestions how to find job in UK.. Maybe it can be local website with ads or etc.. And another aspect: Speaking about accommodation, how much money I will need to spend in a week (average).
Speaking about myself.. I'm 20 years old. In past played for Latvian youth national team (U17 Euro Championship).. Also played 3 seasons in latvian 1 league (Second strongest league in Latvia). Now I'm not so active in sport, but full of energy for physical work
Jobs are scarce at the moment. Probably better off looking for work elsewhere unless you are a referee, in which case your job is eternally safeguarded even if you are horribly incompetent.
Try going into "google" and entering the words: - employment in the UK it might work? Also I think there is a jobs website called: - www.fish4jobs.co.uk or it might be called: - www.fish4jobs.com I hope that helps mate.
How comes you don't play anymore? Also have you played with/against Cauna (seen as your around the same age)... and is there any news on Cauna's future in Latvia?
