Fantastic, I was watching while on the exercise bike and without realising I was sprinting during the race. Just dont mention the drugs tests.

The mens semi bloke did brilliantly too, he was last coming onto the last straight. 400m is really hard to watch.

And then there's the high jump bloke!

No track and field team my arse. Come on Phillips!

Despite what I said the other day we seem to be doing well in Athletics as well apart from that Southerton girl.

The track cycling is now over and what a job the British team did. There were 10 events of which we won 7 and got 3 silvers and 2 bronze. Only one member of the British team did not win a medal and that was the mark cavendish who won 4 stages in the tour de france. i doubt he will be too upset with what he has done this season. This team was the best track team of time in the history of track cycling and thats something.

I want you motivated for the Speedway season.

Did you realise that it's less than 7 months to your birthday?

This is what happens when you let a white man sprint. It is not naturally possible.

At least the yanks ballsed it up too.

Maybe if Phillips had removed all the metal from his face he might have pinched a few extra centimetres and a gold medal.

    Fake Dennis Rodman wannabe.

Overhyped waste of space. Dyeing your hair red is all very well if you win, otherwise you just look like a wally.

Usain Bolt and the Jamaican team break yet another record in the 4 by 100m relay, Powell was quicker in his leg than Bolt, shows Powell at his best can beat anyone.

    Bolt is just incredible.

I don't follow track sports much. Was Bolt a surprise or did everyone know this was coming?

I was amazed at how totally easy it looked for him and how far ahead he got in such short races. With his height and strength, he has kind of changed the paradigm for sprint runners, hasn't he?

I bet he will regret clowning around at the end and not absolutely crushing the 100m record by another 3/10th of a second.

I think people knew Bolt was good and was in with a chance of gold medals but nobody expected him to blow everyone away with such ease. Incredible.

Bolt started as a 400 and 200 m runner but focused on 200. Ran the 100 to improve his 200 and suddenly found that his long legs weren't the disadvantage they thought they'd be.

He was one of the 200m favourites but a surprise in the 100m when he broke the WR recently.

He won't regret it. He gets a lump of money from his sponsor every time he breaks the world record. So if he does it little by little he'll have retired a billionaire by the time the drugs are found.
