I love Z Cars.
As soon as I hear the drum roll It has a stimulus response reaction and I just want to stand up and clap!
Even if I hear it whilst driving ☺

However, if we were to get a new 'coming out' (excuse the pun) tune, what could it be?

An Elton John number?
A little ditty by NWA or the Sex pistols?
We are the champions?

How long have we been using z cars? As far as I can remember (apart from 1 season gangsters paradise) ? Personally I'd leave it alone I like the z cars

 

I'm sick to the back teeth of it and getting rid would wind up Oli Phillips. No brainer, then.

He was very scary when he yelled at me for some misdemeanour in the WO office.

I like Z Cars,especially the funky little clarinet solo towards the end!

 

OK.. i only have recollections of mk1.


Shame if he has sullied the memories of his reporting from the glory days of GT's first era.. and judging by what i read, he has with many people. I shall just remember him only by the early days though & indeed i still have many of the match reports and 'thoughts' from back then.
