Surely you'd be gutted to see Hogg go? He's a class act, and young.

He'd probably be my next choice after Murray, but if he went I wouldn't be gutted as I don't think he has that 'something' that couldn't be replaced by someone who we are now actually able to get.

Murray is a little different, he's still young and there is always that chance he wont continue to develop, but if he does he has that something that is a bit special and really could be a major force for the next few years to help us move on to the Prem and even flourish there as well.

Bentley? No way, horrible attitude, and a player that has been ruined by money . No passion for the game left in him at all.

Eustace needs to stay. I hope management realises he helped guide stoke to promotion before he was sold to us. I'm not so sure why people seem to think buaben is in danger of leaving, he's a very good midfielder and a good option off the bench.

In terms of who needs to go; I believe ****inson could go. I appreciate the effort he puts in but his playing style does not match that of the new regime. Forsyth should go out on loan , as should assombalonga , 'minjoya' and Bennett. But what I'd like to see if the 'players rights' transferred over to udinese or granada, and then loaned out to serie b or segunda liga teams, I believe that could be beneficial to our younger players, as those leagues are a lot more technical.

In terms of who I'd want to see come in; we've heard a lot about youngsters and the scouting network and the partnership with football
Manager, however we've only signed loans from our sister teams and free transfers. I'd like to see some young talents for the future come in. Players from the Baltic countries and the like we're supposed to be on the transfer teams list, and I believe our links and our academy are enough to attract younger players, especially with the new u21 league, the teams we have been drawn in with show how well our academy is respected,
Additionally I'd like to see the FM partnership fully explored. Everton seeked guidance from fm for the signings of Fellaini, pienar and magauye gueye, who all feature for the first team.

Finally, I believe duxbury and co have shot themselves in the foot. I think it's pretty obvious doyley isn't really in Zolas plans. However by saying they'd be keeping watfords Identity it kind of puts them in a catch 22 situation; they sell doyley, no doubt they will face criticism from the fans. In the end I think doyleys versatility will allow him to stay, as he can play LB, RB and CB.

    Sorry for the long post!

If we let Doyley go then I will be extremely annoyed. Jenkins, Garner and Forsyth can leave though, terrible footballers.

That kind of criticism doesn't last long. Going way back I can remember the real anger at seeling Maurice Cook & then Cliff Holton (both forgotten very quickly) and much more recently the sacking of Dyche - already pretty well forgotten.

It's different though, Doyley is Mr.Watford. Doyley has been here for god knows how long, probably since he was a kid, came through the academy, been in and out of teams, proved his worth to many managers. To get rid of someone who literally symbolises what Watford have been doing for years ( bringing kids through the academy and into the first team ), would surely anger watford fans as they'd see it as the soul being ripped from the club, and rightly so.

Its a different anger to that of a manager who'd shown loyalty for one season. Obviously hed been a player and a coach, but it doesnt match to that of a true, and one of the few. modern club legends that we have in Lloyd Doyley.

Lloydinho produced one of the few moments of skill on Sunday when on the halfway line facing his own goal everyone expected him to go backwards but he spun off the Tottenham player to go forward. I can't recall any of our other players ever actually beating an opponent apart from that. There's lots of players I'd get rid of before Lloyd.

Disagree with EB Hornet's opinions of Eustace, Tiny & Hogg.
Eustace has experience in the game and a player that is such a positive influence, perhaps not guaranteed starting spot but vital around club. Very well respected by fellow pro's.
Tiny again has that experience and, like Eustace, helps with an element of continuity with all the other changes going on around them. Also comfortable bringing ball out from the back.
Hogg is a great player and whilst not as eye catching as Murray, I believe he will be just as effective at winning us points. Will be a prem player in 2-3 years, hopefully with us. I would be very disappointed if any of these players leave.

For me, Emu, Forsyth, ****o, Jenkins & Garner to go. Massey, Whichelow, Assombolonga and some of the first yr pros to go out on loan. I would keep Mingoia at the club and hope this is the season he proves himself based on Pre season. Can't really see too much benefit in loaning him again.

I would add Yeates to the out list too if we do sign a Tommy Smith type attacking player, but Pre season performances keep him for now.

Also need to get Thompson and Bennett involved this season, with Kane's comments about a surprise leaving I could understand Nosworthy being allowed to go IF Hall's fitness can be proven.

I think this is difficult because of how different Zola's style is from what we've been used to. I suspect some players we thought poor/marginal will blossom with this style and some the exact opposite

I'd get rid of Hall, Doyley, Taylor, Hodson, Jenkins, Eustace, Iwelumu, Garner, Forsyth, Yeates, Anya, Beleck, Mingoia, McGinn, Deeney, ****inson, Bennet, Thompson, Massey, Smith and maybe one or two of the youngsters.

Yes he is. He is good at one on one's and he's loyal but that's as good as it gets. He has no positional sense, He can't pass with either foot, he can't control a ball, his heading is ok but has no idea where it will go, no football brain at all. Apart from QPR (who apparently bid £500kfor him!!!!!) why do you think nobody has ever tried to sign him?
I'm sure he is a lovely bloke and thouroughly deserves his testimonial but as a club we are moving to having players with a lot more technical ability. This country has a thing for making heroes out of people who are rubbish. Eddie the Eagle made a fortune from this. Even through the Olympics, despite all the medals we get athletes who go out in a heat and the commentator says they did their best and that's good enough. For me that isn't good enough, if your best is not up to the level your competing at then you shouldn't be there and that I'm afraid is Lloyd. I know this won't go down well with some but I suspect we won't get rid of him this season but as a free transfer next summer.

Doyley is like the ravens at the Tower of London. If he leaves, Watford will fall.
