I think he will head for the South Pole. It's on terra firma the geographical location. Whereas he'd have to fight polar bears in the Arctic, he'd only need to fight off Ranulph Fiennes in Antarctica and I think Zola would dropkick him. So it's South for me.
I voted go because at the moment he can't seem to get his selection or tactics right, for instance the derby game 2 weeks ago Fabbrini was having a great game and was creating chances left right and center and then Zola took him off and after that when we attacked we struggled to create goal scoring opportunity's. and on Monday we needed that boost after Brighton had drawn level but we had to wait to see are first substitution which was on 80 minutes when really the game had gone flat, the game only livened up in the 90th minute but again we lacked the creativity. Today I'm surprised he didn't start with fessi and fabbrini cause deeney was shocking missing a fair few good chances and a result we lost 3-0. zola said in the interview with the club website that it was the players responsibility but isn't he the one who should take responsibility for picking some of the players who have been in bad form for the starting line-up when you got other great players on the bench waiting to show him what they can do. It seems Zola doesn't know what team to pick, what formation the team should play, it's like he's run out of fresh ideas and teams are starting to capitalize on it so i think a new manager with a slightly different style would do us good and probably earn us promotion. Zola keeps saying that the team are working on their weaknesses but it doesn't seem to be working. Zola is trying to improve are weakness but is forgetting to work on the basic and this results in the team crumbling like today. This is why i think Zola should be sacked.
This is the first time since the start of last season that Zola has hit a proper rough patch as our manager. Sacking him before he's been given a chance to sort out is inane tbh
One change from Monday today. Doesn't really tell us that he doesn't know what team to pick. Criticised for rotation, criticised for not rotating. Maybe he should just resign as he's never going to win with the likes of you.
We are 7th in the league. It is 2nd November. We currently have more points than we had at the same stage last season.
that's not it. this time a year ago, the dressing room atmos was sky high. right now it clearly ain't. summit's up and it shows.
Was it? I remember very negative rumours coming out of the club when we lost 1-0 away at Blackburn in late October and we definitely weren't playing consistently or as a team then either. Funnily enough some were calling for Zola to be sacked after that defeat as well. Some people just never learn.
How anyone can even want Zola out at this satge when we are 7th in the league and have more points and are higher in the league than we were at this stage last season is beyond me.
I'd like him to stay if only in the hope it might drive away the fans who have railed against him, Dyche and Mackay at the slightest set back.
When I saw this I presumed it was a joke. Somewhat shocked that some seem to be seriously saying Zola should go at this stage.
