I said that from the start if teams press us then we are done for look at the 2nd half of the Birmingham game they gave us no time and close us down... if we were in the prem you can start to play like Zola wants... don`t get me wrong i don`t want to see the return to aidy boothroyd hoofball .. but we need winning football we play some good stuff under Malky Mackay passing then hoofing it when needed...may be we need a manager like Aidy to get us out of the prem then sack him 2 manager have got us out of the champ in the last 11 season now GT and Aidy both played what i call winning football some may call hoofball

Scenario 1) we bring through a home grown once every 2-3 years with prem potential and as soon as he's spotted by the rest he's of for less than market value GUARANTEED with a dodgy owner pocketing the money

Scenario 2) we are handed a whole bunch of players with possible world class potential on guaranteed season long loans on an ongoing basis with financial security as an added bonus

I really hope Zola takes us to the top and into the prem but i just can`t see it and i`m not saying that because of the Derby game..what worries me is that we have got loads of players that don`t know the champ and we also have got a manager that does not know the champ... you can`t just turn up and think your way of football will beat everyone and know nothing about the team you are playing that has to be one of the 1st rules of being a manager knowing what the other team does like set plays or have someone that knows and can pass on the information
I think if Zola wants to keep his job he needs to get in a number 2 that knows the champ best guy would of been SD

 

But if you believe that you are good enough, with the best players - let the others worry about you.

If passing football is the way the wfc fans want it and there is no doubt about that after the 0-3 home defeat by the " football how it should be played wba) the booing and the ongoing abuse of hoofball - then how feckin difficult if you are a good player is it to fend of an opposition player and pass the ball to one of your own players - smething most British footballers are incapable of doing at worst and at best, unable to sustain the simple passing game for more than three of four times before the urge to hoof or a panic attack threatens.

still my Bolton are a hoofball team so it will be like watford v wba game, so get ur money on 0-3... that is a free tip from the bear.

His number two would have needed to coach the passing game as that's what The Pozzo's wanted because it falls in line with the other two clubs. I quite like SD but I don't think for one minute he would have been able to coach this style of play. Di Canio seems to have done ok at Swindon playing the passing game and how much do you think he knew about league 2. His backroom staff are also Italian with no experience of this country!
Nice guy SD and did a decent job but that's in the past now so lets move on and back the new guys and not hit the panic button after four games, two of which we've won!

True , but much like in general industry , the english cant speak any other language , than English , perhaps thats why our players (england team down) cant seem to keep the ball for more than 5 passes
