Why the **** would anyone want to support a performance like that.

 

Sorry, i'm imploding right now and I am quite 'glass half full' . You weren't there (not having a dig) so you cannot comprehend how utterly pitiful that was. Yeovil were useless - bottom of League 1 at best. they beat us 3-0. We had 27 shots, 2 on target. Embarassing, inept, clueless.

 

OMG, well I'm just back and yes I'm angry and yes I'm disappointed and that really was not fun to watch at all (ruined my Staurday that has, bah).

BUT, never in 35 years have a heard a Watford crowd sing 'this is embarressing', is this acceptable I ask myself?

IMHO the folks the sang that are the only embaressment really!

And before you start shouting at me, no I'm not excussing that performance it was terrible but hey you know, **** happens!

We have to pick ourselves up and go again on Tuesday!

 

I don't think the players know we have fans in the Vic Road End.

We just got spanked at home by a team who couldn't string 2 passes together, a teamsheet which read like a list of FM regens and a gameplan of punting aimless balls at the corner flag for 90 minutes

No one was calling (en masse) for Zola to be sacked or targeting individual players for abuse, but the crowd were well within their rights to make their displeasure known

Yes I agree with you it was embarassing enough without singing about it!

I dont boo our players, that's just a personal thing but that dosnt mean I'm happy with what went on or blindly accept the performance, far from it!

 

No-one writes this in any walk of life.

 

Also, I prefer to think of JB and myself not as the self-appointed 'kings of Watford' but more like the 'Meriden Twin Towers'.

Standing above most of Watford, no matter how ugly we are.

 

Zola needs to issue a rally call to the players because I think if he does not get any results in the next 4 games he is gone.If the players think anything of Zola they need to man up and start playing for him as if there lives were on the line.
